If you use a lot of custom reports it was so frustrating that you had to click on the reporting drop down then go to reporting screen and custom reports in two clicks, why doesn't Custom just show on the reporting drop down. Now XERO have made it even worse. Under the new reporting menu, you now have to click on reporting also choose a drop down menu to get to custom reports. Come on Xero this has just made functionality even worse, so frustrating!

Can we add Balance Sheet to the widgets options please

What's even worse - when you have the profit and loss widget enabled and displayed, clicking the title takes you to Xero's default P&L report - not our version of the modified report.

The problem with Xero's default report (and one reason why I do not trust any of the comparison data presented by the widget re. previous year figures) is that the default report treats Corporation Tax as an Administrative Cost in the report - and as a result there's no accurate pre-tax profit value.

The P&L widget should be comparing like for like - in other words, periods in this financial year when compared to previous year should both be inclusive (or exclusive) of corporation tax - we should compare apples to apples, and oranges to oranges, not mix-and-match to the whim of Xero's default reporting. Given that it links to a broken P&L report, why should I trust what it tells me?

In the old version I could have a link to the P&L report with 1 click from the home page. I can't do that any more :-(

I want the one click simple links to :

Activity Statement
Profit and Loss
Balance Sheet

Not the territory wasting layout and search with multiple key strokes etc to find - as seen on the new.

KEEP IT SIMPLE - WHY CHANGE FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGE?

The layout is too cluttered and far to big - I cannot use it in the so called "new" format - give us back more control to resize it back to the way it was or the way we prefer.
I do not want to use the whole screen to just see zero.

It would be really beneficial to be able to link a custom P&L report to the widget on the homepage dashboard as the standard P&L displays Corporation tax and dividends in the wrong place

I have personalised my Homepage, which makes it better and less cluttered for me.
I would like to be able to have my regular reports on the homepage too - but it doesn't appear to be an option that can be included on my homepage??

Good to have the P&L widget linking to that report, but would love to see shortcuts to any favourite reports on the home page (ideally with a some summary info like the P&L, but that's a nice to have.

I really liked having a shortcut to reports I choose. This seems to have been removed however I found this to be particularly great shortcut option and one i used every week if not daily.

+1 for this. I have custom reports for my tracking categories and it would be great to either have a widget to display the report summary on the homepage (best) or have a widget with a quick link to the report (second best)

We have defined our own custom Income Statement. It would be nice to display this on the homepage - as well as on the mobile app home screen....

I agree that I feel this would be a super useful tool, it would be a massive time saver if we had the option to jump straight to custom report. I have many entities and all have a large amounts of custom reports, too many to save on the favourites dropdown. I hope this is an idea that Xero consider.

I would like to put certain reports on my homepage - VAT, CIS, Balance sheet, P&L etc. how do i do that

I have some reports I use daily and it would be great to have these on the homepage - typically invoices and costs so I can keep tabs on this (Different from cashflow) as I target myself to control costs and hit a level of invoiced sales in month.

I have some custom reports that I use every time I log on - can't I just have a "widget" that pulls up that report on my home page?

It would be good to have a reports widget on the new homepage design, so you can access favourite reports easily. This was something the old design had (i.e. being able to click straight into the P&L report).

The old tax and reporting widget was top of screen in my old homepage. Had links to GST return, P&L and Balance Sheet and was a big time saver (not having to dive into menus etc). Removing this and making the other widgets (bank accounts, meaningless P&L graphs) way too big makes the new layout borderline unusable for me. Current customization is not helpful.

A visual POV of a custom report, e.g. P&L YTD, would be very useful.

It would be helpful if there was a widget for reports where you could select your top 3/5 reports that you use the most.
