Tracking - Ability to bulk Archive categories

We use tracking categories of building jobs. It would be great to archive the tracking category once the job it complete. Allowing a P&L by tracking category report to only show active jobs.

    Does anyone know anyone in Xero to get some sort of reaction? This is a painful process which we have all been asking for, yet we are still left wanting

    surely it cant be that hard to add this feature - it just needs a multiselect with a bulk action.
    It seems Xero just dont care about users anymore, insteading they are spending their time with that stupid jax rubbish that adds no real value and no one asked for. why? because AI is trendy and thats what their developers want to do instead of the boring practical stuff that users actually want?

    They have gone from a market disrupter building off user feedback to the worst kind of money grubbing big corporate. I for one am no longer recommending Xero to clients

    I agree that we need a system or archiving tracking categories in bulk, even if you just keep the screen on the tracking categories instead of switching it to 'archive' each time, its so time consuming to scroll up, switch to the categories and then scroll down to where you were, then back to archive, scroll up, switch to categories, scroll down to where you were again and so on......

    How is bulk archiving still not a thing!?!? Come on Xero you MUST understand how painful this process is and what a waste of time and money for businesses!!! I highly doubt even this is such a difficult piece of code that it stumps even Xero developers. Just ridiculous.

    Our project list is getting a little full. Debating building my own app to do this over the API but feel like I should not have to?

    This is the most painful part of Xero. But I don't hold out hope Xero will do anything after two years of people asking for this which is disappointing.

    Please can we have this function added soon, its very time consuming having to delete/archive these one-by-one especially when you have over 500!

    I really need this! It is too time consuming to archive each code individually and we have so many from pior fiscal years that are inactive!

    This is a critical build!! Requests since 2022 might indicate that is a long-desired and strongly endorsed option. Please prioritise this feature in future releases. Even better if accessible using API!

    PLEEEEEEEEEASE make this a option ASAP - so many categories to archive and so time consuming its actually impossible to do.
