  1. Mapping - Xero Tax (AU) - Ability to map accounts to more than one field on the tax return.
    ie Wages are included at P8 as a business expense but also needs to be reported at P15.
    It needs to be manually entered at P15, this should be automatically mapped.

  2. to run a report that pulls the History of tax returns into it, including:
    1. Staff member who prepared the return, and date prepared.
    2. Staff member who lodged the return, and date lodged
    Currently if we run the report builder, it only can show account manager's name, it doesn't seem to have the option to show lodgment person's name.

  3. Day time contact number in individual tax return.

    Individual tax return cover page has two options
    Mobile number and day time contact number
    day time contact number is by default picked up from practice management setting which is practitioner number.
    there is no a way to change this day time number to client contact number automatically.

  4. I would love to build out a customizable reporting dashboard for each client, that I could grant specific access to. It could include specific monthly reports, live reports (like a rolling 12 month p&l for example) or widgets with live reports (for AP and AR) like on the current Xero dashboard. Perhaps include some KPI calculations. As an accountant, I could prepare the dashboard for each client's needs, and then email them a link to the dashboard each month when the accounting is updated.
    With a simple dashboard like this I wouldn't be shopping for outside reporting tools like reach…

  5. It would be great to get a prompt or warning message that will appear when adding overlapping timesheet entries in XPM. Currently an 8hr day and end up more if time has been entered in twice....

  7. Could we have the option to send out accounts and tax returns without a date on them, so that when the client signs them via E-sign options, the date can be updated to reflect the date they signed?

    We have been embracing Xero Tax for all our company accounts and tax returns this year, to really identify what still needs to be addressed and provide that feedback before we abandon our existing software.

  8. Document packs that are cancelled, send a notification to clients. it would be good to be able to cancel the document pack and have the option of whether or not to notify the client.

  9. Would be great if on the 'Ask' Tab when you've loaded the search query and picked the finical period in question you could attached the TB or other reports within Xero with out having download first and attach it.
    It would also mean you could do serval clients in one sitting rather than one at a time, which an email would be quicker for.

  10. When preparing the statutory accounts in Xero Tax it would be great to have the feature to create your own "freeform note". For example, I need to add a secured debts note to the accounts however Xero does not currently provide this note amongst the list, therefore I need a freeform note where I can determine the heading and body of the note to feature in the notes to the financial statements. Currently the workaround is to declare the secured debts note as a line with the creditors which makes the presentation of the accounts weak.

    Hi team, reviewing this idea our team are exploring the possibility of adding the ability to add a number of Freeform Notes in some of the Financial statements for FRS102 1a as part of our plans to improve the Notes & Disclosures and offer greater flexibility.   11. It would be useful if the Tax Payments screen in Xero Practice Manager had an "all" tab, where you could see all tax payments due (for a certain date). This is useful if you don't know what stage a certain letter is at.

    Hi community, we're excited to share that the ability to add notes to all line items will be soon available to all in new Xero Workpapers!   14. When pulling invoices through from Xero to XPM (i.e. to report on fees v.s. costs/budget), it would be much more beneficial if XPM could locate its Job Reference Number within the line item description of an invoice, rather than just the invoice reference field.

    This would mean multiple XPM jobs could be referenced on the same invoice (e.g. 001 Payroll, 002 Accounts, 003 Bookkeeping), as well as mitigating for firms like ours where we also bill other non-relevant monthly services (e.g. HR, Legal services etc.) on the same monthly invoice to a client.

    HI Sally, jumping back on your idea here our team are working on providing more flexibility to the info you view from Job Manager.

    Right now, we're developing columns for Staff, Manager and Partners. Around the same time we expect to deliver these additions, we'll also enable you to hide detail you'd prefer not to view. So, you can decide and only see the information relevant for you when viewing Jobs.

    We'll return to share more when this is available🙂

  16. Automatically pull through client addresses from their Xero to Xero HQ Client List to avoid having to enter them manually each time and to ensure that any change of address is updated.

  19. The tax return view/list can be significantly improved through:
    - the All tax return tab - ability to update the status from here. Currently, when we go to Lodge, we have to find the return in the All tab to determine what status it is at, then go to that specific status tab, find the return again, and update the status - this is really cumbersome, particularly when we are lodging numerous returns that are all set at different statuses.
    - the ability to see more fields/columns for each tax return to reduce the risk of lodging the incorrect return.…
