Practice tools | Staff - Ability to select clients on multiple pages when assigning clients to staff
In the old Xero HQ staff page, you could click on the staff member, add clients, then select any number of clients from the entire client list.
With the new staff page layout, you can only select clients on the current page. If you move to the next page, the selection clears.
Hi team, pleased to provide an update here before year end. This functionality is now available within the new unified staff experience.
Within a Staff you will find from the Clients tab you can now select clients from multiple pages to Edit permissions. the total number of clients selected will show at the top of the list and selections from previous pages are held. Thanks for your feedback and helping us improve this experience for you all.

"The new Xero HQ is pretty but important functionally has been removed"
This basically sums up any change Xero makes.
They make it 'prettier' for the business owner who might use it once a week, while making it harder to use for bookkeeper/accountant power users who are in it all day every day...

The new Xero HQ is pretty but important functionally has been removed especially in the Staff tab.
1. With the previous version of Xero HQ we could go to the STAFF tab click "Assign client" and we could use the search bar, select multiple organisation with different names, tick them and assign permissions to them all in bulk. This can longer be done as the search bar "forgets" what was selected, when the selection is not on the same page.
2. From the staff view we now cannot see the roles of each and every staff member, we need to click on every staff member individually..... and it is extremely tedious to do so.
In the previous view, with one screen we had all the information we needed, which also included a tab on the left side of the screen.

Yes, please address this issue, it is particularly frustrating and inefficient when managing multiple clients
