Clients - "Go to Xero" to open in another tab – Share and support customer ideas for Xero

Clients - "Go to Xero" to open in another tab

On the client screen when you click on "Go to Xero" it should open in another tab not the not redirect the current browser page to Xero.

Hi team, this change has now been released. You'll find when you click the 'Go to Xero' option from the Client list or within an individual client this will open the organisation in a separate browser tab. 😊

Hi team, we appreciate the feedback we’ve received on the current behaviour of the ‘Go to Xero’ button for clients here.

Currently, when you click this within a clients details page it will open in a new browser tab, but we get wanting this to work the same from the Client list.

This is something our product team are working on atm, and I will come back to you here once it’s been updated. Thanks!

Thanks for letting us know the changes that would make a difference for you when working with clients, Christopher.

Our product teams are monitoring feedback through the practice experiences beta closely and I’ll be sure to let you know here if there are any improvements planned to enable opening in a new tab.

When in the client group page that lists each member and it shows 'go to Xero', this should open up on a new tab instead of over taking the current page

This is vital for us too as we want to keep practice manager open to record time etc and leave the client list open as well for family group insight etc when working in a clients ledger
