  1. It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to manually designate a contact as a Supplier without being required to create a bill first.

    Currently, contacts default to being labeled as Customers unless a bill is entered, which can lead to confusion and disorganization — particularly when dealing with vendors that don’t issue traditional invoices.

    For example, when recording a Spend Money transaction (such as a business purchase from Amazon), the payee appears as a Customer, even though they are clearly a Supplier. This makes it difficult to maintain accurate contact categorization and reporting.

  2. The contact name field is coming up as "Contact name must be unique", which is limiting when it's entirely possible there's more than one person with the same name.

    Can Xero find a solution to this? If other attributes, such as email address, are unique?

    How do other people get around this scenario?

  3. While we can add an image to a Customers Record, there is no abiliity to see that image when inquiring on that customers record. A thumbnail instead of Initals would be useful, similar to gmail.

  4. Does HubDoc have any plans to make app sign in on mobiles easier? For example, signing in once with normal password, 2FA etc and then being able to setup to login using faceID. The sign in process on the mobile app is a nightmare and having to regularly login because the app logs you out is the biggest customer complaint I hear. I am going to search for other alternatives at this stage because my clients can't get past that functionality. If it's not easy to upload documents it is pointless.

  5. The HubDoc Ui/Ux is outdated, we all know it. But its a good product. With the addition of the "Upload Bills" feature to Xero, it would make sense to just bring the full functionality of HubDoc right into the Ui of Xero rather than invest in the standalone product of HubDoc. It keeps us on one screen within Xero and eliminates all the nuances of the sync/integration.

    Maintaining backup to DropBox or Google Drive is key though. That makes it feel like a 'safe' backup method for receipts.
