New files beta: re-enable reading email while looking at file
A beta for the files inbox has shown up on one of my clients today, and it's unusable as is (and I can't disable it and go back to a functional workflow). The biggest thing that is not working for me is that I can no longer view a file and the email associated with that file at the same time.

Smart Document Capture in Files - disable option!
I like the idea of the Smart Document Capture and being able to add a lot more information, but when I scan a document to files I JUST need to be able to rename it. You had recently changed the formal so you could have the file open AND rename it at the same time, which was fantastic, now you've added an extra feature and removed the ability to rename the file while it's open. Adding a Statement TAB to Contacts
Dear Xero Team,
It would be very helpful to have a separate "Statement" tab for each contact to upload statements received from suppliers or contractors for accounts payable.
I recommend adding this tab under the existing Contacts section, alongside the current tabs for Bills, Purchase Orders, Receive Money, and Spend Money.

Files - Quickly add new contacts directly from Files uploads
Currently if a file is uploaded for a Contact that doesn't exist in Xero, we have to open a new tab to manually add the Contact. Could a button or hyperlink be added to the transaction screen in the File section that will open a new page or pop up to add the Contact? This will reduce clicks and increase efficiency. Bonus if we can "quick add" where just the Contact name is added by clicking a button in File. Files to be accessible by invoice only users
At present the file library can only be accessed by Standard or Advisor user profiles.
When you have purchase ledger roles using the Invoice Only user profile, they should be able to see the file library in order to user Smart Document Capture.
This seems like an oversight and would make life easier for employees in clerk roles.

New creating transaction from file
I like the new way we can generate a transaction from within Files.
However, for those of us who use Items, this option is not available. Is this on the radar to be included?

Smart Document Capture - add credit note to drop down for document type
We often receive individual tax adjustment notes/credit notes from suppliers and I forward these to my inbox. If there was the option to select the document type as credit note from the Smart Document Capture pane, it would save me having to navigate to bills, new credit note and manually attaching the file to the transaction. This feature would streamline the processing of files within my inbox.

Files - Xero files now contain PDF's of docs uploaded via 3rd party apps such as Dext which is messy and not necessary
Since the latest updates to Files (which I appreciate is building on AI), Xero Files now contains PDF's of all docs uploaded from Dext for example. Some of my clients have thousands of these docs, they're saved against the data entry and they're filling up files for no reason I can see. Might also cause storage issues down the line doubling up these PDFs. Could we get an switch off option?

Sending emails from the mobile app
When sending emails from the mobile app, it’s important to have the option for emails to be sent from our business email address rather than the personal login email.
At the moment, emails are being sent from a personal address, which means clients are receiving and having access to personal contact details. This isn’t ideal from a professional or privacy standpoint.
Having the ability to set and send from a designated business email would greatly improve professionalism and client communication.

Text Edit Option in the Files
There is this "Add Text" option on the document view in the Files Section. But there does not seem to be any was to save a Text you add on the File. Then what does this menu actually intend to? If you have the option to save the Text, any additional comment could be made on the document.
