  1. On the contacts page you can see the bills and the value, it will either appear with the value in the paid column or the due column unless it has been allocated against a credit. Any allocated credit notes and the invoices they have been allocated to appear as £0.00 in the paid and due column.   2. PRIMARY & SECONDARY/OTHER CONTACTS

    Thanks Grace - it would be great rather than editing and reentering information if there was a field titled "Primary Contact" and Secondary Contact for eg where we could just update that field using a drop-down box as opposed to re-entering customer information. It would definitely save a lot of time. Maybe something to add in the future?

  3. When delete a file, do not automatically delete it from the linked transaction.

    I have had a client delete many of their files from the file library, as she wanted to 'clean it up'. This has in turn deleted them from all the bills/spend money transactions etc and we now have lost access to all the source documents and will need to reenter them.

    Even a warning that this would happen, would be better than just wiping everything.

  4. Restore the ability to see the total number of days an invoice is overdue from the client contact page for credit control. It used to say 125 days overdue in red - that has gone so it is now not as easy to decide how firm to be when emailing a client to chase a late invoice. Those days overdue on an email heading get attention fast.

  5. Fault on new contact page - when an invoice is paid using an overpayment is show £0 in the amount paid column! If an invoice is ONLY paid with an overpayment it therefore shows £0 paid £0 due. It should show the full amount paid by any payment method.

  6. Reinstate the bank activity graph for contacts (clients) which used to enable us to see all bank activity for all bank accounts on the client contact page. Give us back our credit control eyes!

  7. We often use the quick search feature in Xero, and it is often used just to get the client code for files. It would be incredibly helpful if the client code populated next to the client name in the quick search bar to make it easier to see

  8. Hubdoc App. Can we have the ability to hide archived documents. Or create a separate tab similar to the web version. Another option is to make archived documents dim so clients are aware that the documents are processed and are in Xero.

  9. Currently if you are using auto-sync hubdoc will only allow either purchases or credit notes from suppliers, but not both. If auto-sync is set to purchases then credit notes uploaded are posted as bills, and vice-versa.

    Particularly for high volume customers it would be useful if Hubdoc could differentiate between them and post them appropriately on auto-sync.

  10. A number of our clients simply use hubdoc as a filing system as publishing to Xero is not as simple as they would like.
    So we maintain their Hubdoc accounts, we update the document type and archive. It would savea huge amount of time if we could bulk edit and bulk archive rather than having to do this one document at a time.

  11. It would be hugely helpful if we could add rules under supplier settings in hubdoc much like the bank rules in Xero. E.G. Client has a home office and I want to split the electricity bill 33% to Power and 67% to Drawings. Number 1 - I won't have to try and remember what the percentage for each client is as they vary and number 2 - I would be able to use the automated function to Publish to Xero.

  12. The recent changes to the contacts screen have done nothing but hinder our business. You have removed the "Payments in past 12 months" which is something we rely on heavily when managing our clients. There is now no way to see all payments by a particular client where there are credit notes applied or they have paid by different means (sometimes by card, sometimes DD and sometimes bank transfer) as we would have to search each account separately and manually pull out the credit note balances. Very laborious and this is information we use daily in our credit control procedures.

  13. Stop messing around with things that people haven't asked for and actually look at implementing things that have been asked for.
    The new look for customer and sales ledgers is awful. Why change it?
    When it comes to being easy to reconcile supplier ledgers Xero is already miles behind it's competitors but you've somehow managed to make it even worse!

In the new contact view, everything is spread out, with lots of wasted white space (similar to the bills list without 'compact view' toggled, or the list of repeating bills (which doesn't have the ability to be compact in view).   15. Ability: Xero only displaying the unpaid invoice up top under client/contact ----- same as former Xero version - PLEASE change this back it was perfect and it is very much not userfriendly now

  17. When in the contact section and viewing the activity tab, it would be useful to be able to view PDF invoice from that screen rather than click on an invoice and click the attachment tab (similar to the function in bills to pay).

  18. I would suggest to about the Contacts function. Currently, the system automatically merge the contact information with the same name first and last name when importing the contacts. It's very common that customers have same first name and last name. I think it's better for Xero to have diagnostic to ask if the contacts imported are the same before merging. The auto merging function is creating lots of issue when the customers name are the same.

  19. Ability to go into the contact/client and see all notes under history and notes also the notes that are made under an invoice for the client. So ALL notes are in one place and users don't need to run a report to check a note. The former Xero layout had this. Invoice notes showed up under history and notes for the client in the old Xero layout before July 2023.

    Hi team, we appreciate that with different places in which notes can be added within Xero right now, you'd like one place you can go to view all history related to a contact. Though we don't have plans of surfacing the individual transaction history & notes on a Contacts record, you may find the History & notes report useful for getting a wider lens.

    You'll find with the report you can filter, search and view history and notes across all areas of Xero.

    We are continuing to watch the engagement and support for this idea, and will share if there are any updates.

  20. I normally download publish failed documents, and then archive them. One day, I lost the downloaded files. I try to find them from Hubdoc archive folder. However, I can’t find date of archive. I’m really worried about I download duplicated files and enter them into Xero. I hope Hubdoc can add When the documents have been archived includ date and time. So to avoid duplicated documents enter into Xero.
