  1. Be able to just export customers to excel not the whole contacts list. If not this then at least have a column so that I can filter out suppliers from the list.

  2. In the UK most agent management statements show both the rental income and the cost of sales for their fees, and any expenses incurred on behalf of the landlord.

  3. Where can I attach contact related documents vs financial related documents, as it appears there is only one document file upload location now. When there were options to keep these separate previously. It is all very well making updates and changes to the system in order for things to be quicker and more efficient but when this means, loosing previously used facilities, this is very frustrating. Keeping these different related documents apart has been very important previously and so now these all being stored together will mean things our end take longer and are less efficient for the end user.…

  5. Could there be an option to link an address for a contact group to members of that group?

    We have many NHS customers who order under individual staff names but are linked to NHS Trusts. So for instance, John Smith, David Brown, Elle Davis may all work for Clydeside NHS.

    We'd like to have them all grouped under "Clydeside NHS" (can do that) and be able to flag that they all share the same Billing Address which is an attribute of that Contact Group.

    At present we have to maintain each separately and this doesn't help with spotting that they…

  6. I believe it would be of great help to extract the Purchase Order code from the invoice into hubdoc.

    It is very important to create a simple path from the begging of creating a purchase order to finally paying for the product or service and having a way to connect it all together, I believe the purchase order number is a vital part of the process and can be referenced throughout the whole process.

    Would be great to hear some feedback on this idea!

  7. EORI numbers are required for all European customers especially when invoicing/shipping goods. It is an extension of their VAT numbers. Please can XERO create a new field on the contacts for this. We are recording this currently in the new notes or "FAX" number so it shows quickly. Are Fax numbers still necessary?

  8. The email feed on clients account activity needs reinstating. If people send a quote mid communication via email rather than on xero or someone emails in a query about an invoice this is now getting lost rather than recorded on their account!

    PLEASE REINSTATE this was essential for credit control and communication between team members regarding clients!

    Hi there 👋, as you may have received communication of - we made the decision to retire our integration with Mailchimp, MS Outlook, Google Contacts and Hubspot from 10 Sept this year. We know the integration wasn't delivering the experience our customers expected, and retiring meant we could sharpen our focus on integrations that'll provide more value. We don't have any plans for bringing this back.

    If you’d like to continue using an app integration, we recommend you visit the Xero App Store to determine whether apps like Zapier or Make would be a good alternative for your needs, or alternatively visit Xero Developer to find out more about building a custom integration with Xero.

  9. To be able to see a proper transaction report of either outstanding or all transactions from the contact screen. All it gives you at the moment is a list of invoices and notes etc with no structure. If you could get a transaction history from that screen and an aged breakdown it would be really helpful, which you could download, without coming out of there and having to go to reports. It's so frustrating.

  10. Why does the screen on each contact not show an aged breakdown at a glance like it does in Sage 50 accounts? Sometimes I only want to look at that particular supplier/customer to see what we owe them by month without having to go to the reports screen. Also why does it not list payments on account in the top part of the screen. It is so confusing to work out what is due and what isn't. Awful set up

  11. Send or transfer files from the file library between organisations

    We have multiple organisations and it is easy to get emails mixed up with files being sent to the wrong organisation. It would be super useful if files could be transferred from one organisation to another directly from the file library.

  12. HUBDOC Sorting Alphabetical Feature needed PLEASE. Wishing to request an extra sort option under the "Sort by" button above the "Processing", "Review", "Failed", "Archived" tabs. Currently we have "Upload Date", "Bill Date", "Due Date" & "Amount" options. We create a statements folder for each month and when we're trying to check off the statements with whats in Xero report that is sorted by alphabetical order it would be practical. Also its good to allocate suppliers in the review tab in alphabetical order too if you have a huge number to do then you are compartmentalising that supplier and all the…

  13. When you go into a customer and click View recent invoices report, currently it shows a list of all their previous invoices, which is clear and easy to read. When you click on the new report version it shows a list of approved sent and paid invoices for all customers, but only for the current month. This is totally useless as you then have to filter it to the customer, and change the date back far enough to show all the invoices. Can you please change this so it is the same as the old report.

  14. In the Files area, there are some that you do not know of until you opened them, and upon seeing them, it's not needed for the business. You have to close the file, either select the checkbox then delete, or the option button on the right to delete. Can you add a Delete function upon opening the file so we don't have to click close just to delete unwanted files? Thank you!.

    Hi team, we appreciate the interest in improvements to the Files inbox. We are in the process of developing the inbox and improve efficiencies in how you manage and use uploaded files in Xero.

    As part of this work we will be improving the preview of files so you can see this side by side within the files inbox, enabling you quickly select and delete a files without having to open and close the preview. I'll keep you updated of when this is live for you here.

  15. The inability to attach credit notes from a batch is becoming increasingly problematic. To clarify: multiple credit notes sent from suppliers under 1 PDF - there isn't the capability to transfer these into a separate folder and then attach each PDF multiple times when creating a credit note from a supplier. As soon as it is attached once it disappears! I have had multiple occasions where there are numerous credits in one PDF and am having to write all but one down in longhand so I can then create the Credits.   16. I Also, when will we get the stop function in Xero? I've been asking Xero for 6 years. I know you can restrict invoices by credit limit but, customers could be well under their limit but overdue in paying. A stop function is critical to any accounting system.

  17. It would be great if the mobile app allowed me to take a new photo of a receipt into folders faster - maybe you could improve the "Work offline" functionality so that it does more in the background.

    I need to use this method, instead of emailing receipts, because we have various folders (1 for each debit & credit card) where we put the specific receipt photograph into

  18. We deal with different people in purchasing, accounting, owners, etc for each account. Contact records are being treated as Account records. This makes it very difficult to keep track of all people we need to do business with within an account.

  19. When I am manually entering a contact bank account number, I find it disconcerting to be warned to enter the bank account number after I leave the BSB code field. But I HAVE to leave the BSB code field in order to move to the Bank account number field! Leaving the BSB field is not a mistake!
    I think the warning would be better triggered if you attempt to click on 'Save & close' without completing both fields.
