Hubdoc - Option to hide/remove hyperlinks in bulk
Recently, Hubdoc links have been appearing as lengthy, distracting hyperlinks in our documents and reports. It can be frustrating to encounter these long links, and it's time-consuming to manually remove them one by one.
It would be great if This feature should be entirely optional, allowing users to activate or deactivate it according to their preferences.1 vote -
Contacts - Option to exclude contacts from marketing notification
it would be great if there was a tick box for being to select if a contact wants to be excluded from marketing contact. if there was a tick box, it would be handy to be able to generate a report showing those who you can contact and those who have opted out, and being able to export that data to excel. i know xero is a finance platform rather then a direct crm however it just seems that for small businesses especially this would be a great tool and as xero does generate reports and exports to excel anyway…

Hubdoc - US Date Format
Hubdoc date format recognition is set at a global level, meaning when it processes invoices for US date formats, it can get it very wrong (e.g. 01-09-23 is interpreted as 9th Jan 2023 when it should in fact be 1st Sep 2023).
This makes automating the process impossible and requires manual checking and adjustment of the date on all US date format documents before submitting to Xero. It can also lead to mistakes and significant additional time to rectify errors when reconciling.
Please provide a means of either auto-recognising the date format (though I appreciate this is easier said than…

Hubdoc - share and upload documents from device drives
Why can't you open a document , press share and the doucment filed into Hubdoc in the same way you can with Xero Files where want to push into Hubdoc initially?
Also you can seem to add PDF file types (that are not photos taken previously and stored in your phone gallery) with or without downloading the PDF document onto your device first - why is that?
Is Hubdoc a proper document storage facility?

Contacts - Birthday notification
Hi guys,
It would be great if we could get reminders for customers and suppliers birthdays, this is great for customer relations. Also a reminder for certain documents that might expire at a certain time.

Contacts - 'Are you sure' alert when deleting Files
Needs 'Are you sure' pop up for Deleting Contact Files
Its too easy to accidentally delete a file attached to a Contact. Needs to be an 'Are you sure you want to delete ...' pop up when deleting.
Especially as it also doesn't populate in the history/notes section that anything has been deleted.11 votes -
Hubdoc - Automatically enable all currencies
At present you have to enable indvidual currencies in Xero settings to allow a purchase receipt in this currency to go through from Hubdoc. If the currency is not pre-set up in Xero then the default is that that the purchase invoice reverts to GBP which means that you then have to reset the currency in Xero. If all currencies were automatically enable for Premium subscriptions this would be avoided and would not rely on each individual currency being manually added to Xero.

Contacts - Multiple reference numbers for one Contact
it would be great to be able to have multiple reference numbers for one contact, so that way if you have multiple jobs for one company, it can be under the same name. instead of having to make up multiple contacts for the same person.

Hubdoc - Add/edit line items in the mobile app
I want to be able to add and edit line items in the Hubdoc mobile app so that I can process more complex invoices/bills on my mobile device. Currently I need to use the web app for this and the UX of the whole interface there is very poor – basically just the desktop interface but rendered much smaller – so the experience is quite painful.

Xero Files - Scroll bar in Files app
When a folder is created in Files app, it appears on the left menu and the documents uploaded in the folder appears on the right side of the screen. When there is a long list of folders created, like I am doing with the client, the list goes below the screen and scrolling down option is only the main scroll of Xero that moves the list of folders and the document display screen together. Contacts - Preview contact files
After reporting a bug (can no longer preview contact files) I was given the following response :
"As you’ve found, right now it’s not possible to preview contact files anymore. You can however, download it and view it instead.
I’ve included a link to Xero Product Ideas where you can view and support current ideas or create a new one to share your thoughts."When something breaks you fix it. You DO NOT pretend that fixing it is a "New Feature" - that then needs requested and voted on.

Xero Files - Archive/Consolidate files by year
I love the Xero filing cabinet as I can put files in there for the accountant and owner to view. However I have been using this cabinet for over 7 years and would like the ability to archive / consolidate by year.

Hubdoc - Option to code transactions and save them, without publishing to Xero
User & Approval - Having a user that can upload documents & code them. Save the changes but not publish to Xero. Bookkeeper can then check the coding is correct before publishing to Xero or having a approval process where the document is sent to be approved before publishing to Xero, and this would work for purchase orders, invoices & receipts

Hubdoc - Add Last Items line orders & Reorder lines
Add Last Items on Hubdoc invoices - lines to be populated in the same order as the previous one. And/or enable the function to rearrange the line items on a multiple line invoice in Hubdoc (like you can in Xero).

Xero Files - Attach files to Bank or Nominal Accounts
It would be a really useful to be able to attach files to a bank account within Xero, much as you can to a contact or transaction.
The use cases for this could be:
When a disorganised client send bank statements in as attachments for irregular payments it would be very handy to be able to store those attached to the account in Xero; as close to where I would want to use them as possible.There are supporting documents that relate to an account as a whole - such as an accruals or prepayment schedule that would be great…

Hubdoc APP - Ability to view notes added to documents.
Can we please have the ability to see if a note has been added to a document when you are in the Hubdoc APP without having to go into a document.
The ability to see this is available in the Web version, would be great to see it in the APP as well.

Files - Allow uploads to client organisations
Changes to Xero that have not improved the program
How do I upload files from Xero Files (documents scanned to Xero etc) to my client it no longer allows this - previously you could access either Xerol Files or your own files from your drive - am I missing something ? Also you can no longer just print invoices you have to download them _ why this is a total pain - the joy of Xero was always click and print or email ??? Please put it back many thanks Kate Milne long time user and Xero fan!!!!

Hubdoc - View suppliers bank account number in details area
When editing the document in Hubdoc, could the creditor/suppliers bank account number please automatically show in the Xero details area. As then we could confirm that the right Xero creditor has been selected and that the bank account number matches the supplier invoice at that moment.

Contacts - Show Payment Terms by Contact
Right now, we see average days we pay or receive payment. It would be good if we can have another row that shows us the payment terms we have with the contact so we can benchmark against performance that way. The data is already in Xero, just need to show it.
