  1. Be able to set up default coding for the Document Type to always be Receipt, and Document Status to always be Awaiting Payment. This at present isn't possible within Hubdoc.

  2. Can Hubdoc extract the invoice reference or job reference from an invoice and add that as a job tag. Would be very useful when the invoice is on-chargeable to a project, especially when there are multiple projects/jobs on the go. E.g. building industry type jobs.

  4. Xero app - Adding a Receipt - check if image/s are fully uploaded before the Save button is enabled/allowed or run a check when the Save button is selected and if image/s are not fully uploaded alert user to wait.

    Xero app - Adding a Receipt - auto compress images larger than x size.

    The Xero app is incredibly slow when uploading images eg; receipt scans. These are not expenses, the expense app works differently and is much faster but I can't use it for business receipts as they are not 'claims'. It has become slower each time I've upgraded…

  5. We have dozens of parent companies with underlying subsidiaries who place separate orders for separate locations, all under the parent company's credit line/name. These all split into different contacts in Xero when they come in from our order processing system. We need Xero to support hierarchies/parent-child relationships/nested orders, so that all purchases can be aggregated to the parent company, both for tracking overall credit use and for sending consolidated statements that include all purchases from all "children". We work with BigCommerce who has a BundleB2B feature that allows these kind of parent-child hierarchies on the client-facing side, but we can't…

  6. Can we have a setting to enable the status section of the Xero destination tab to enable the user to select the status for all documents to be either - draft, awaiting approval or awaiting payment. this save time in having to select this each time a document is uploaded.

  8. Being able to see a map with the location pins for each customer and sort them by the various Xero groups, would be invaluable. This would enable us to easily visualise our national/global coverage to help better understand regional product usage. As a business that provides products to public locations, it would also be an efficient way to reference existing installations near to new enquiries for them to reference.

    Sorry for my delayed response and appreciate the additional context of your idea here, Luke. Being open this isn't something we have plans around right now, but it would be great to see the interest grow from others in community.

    We'll make sure to share any updates if anything more visual like this is planned.

  9. Ability to show customer credit limit on the landing page of a GROUP (In this instance Credit Client)

    Purpose - Users can easily see the credit limit along side the contact name and the headers "You Owe" and "They Owe" Providing a snap shot to avoid the need to click into each individual account to check their credit limit.

  10. Have an area in the contact card to opt out of the remittance advice for that supplier. This will save the time in unticking suppliers that never want remittance advice every time a batch payment is made.

    - end of current month (based on invoice date)

  12. Please automatically remove archived contacts from any previous groups, or show those groups on the archive page. the new group invoicing keep including archived contacts and showing errors. the only way to remove people from groups is to restore them, remove them from groups and the archive them again. with over 1100 contacts this is a mammoth task and one i don't have time for. it was all working fine before you changed to new invoicing, you made the problem, you should make the solution.

I find it very easy to accidentally drag and drop folders into another folder in the documents list and then it's gone before you even notice which folder it was or which folder it got dropped into. Please please please add a pop-up query when a folder is dropped into another folder - "do you really want to do this?"

  15. Currently Hubdoc rounds unit prices to two decimal points, despite Xero itself allowing multiple. Invoices where we record units/unit price are unable to be correctly recorded in Hubdoc due to this errant rounding.

  17. Make a force sync button from Xero to Hubdoc.
    E.g. adding a new account in Xero takes a while for it to eventually show in Hubdoc.
    Unless you have to disable and reactivate the Xero-Hubdoc link

    Why not a button, that just 'force sync' the new chart of accounts into Hubdoc?

  18. Sales Tax exempt form management in the U.S.A. Currently every year we have to manually ask and upload customers sales tax exempt certificates and update their tax status so we charge or don't charge sales tax. Would be nice to have a some sort of system where the customer is notified once a year and self uploads their tax exempt certificate which is linked to thier contact information. This would save alot of hours.

  19. A way to mark contacts as " preferred suppliers",( traffic light colours?) and a way to attach a document to this contact such as a hire agreement/ contract/ agreed rates/insurance documents etc.

    Interesting idea around being able to mark suppliers as preferred, Catherine. It'll be good to get an understanding of the interest in this here.

    In terms of contracts, you can currently upload files to a contacts record which is where you could upload any contract, hire agreements, rates etc.

  20. I have multiple clients who have members. They like to keep their members date of births on file, so they can send them birthday emails, or if they are over a certain age can get a discounted membership. It would be great to have either a dedicated date of birth field, or like some other accounting softwares a few open fields, that we could name per file, for additional required details, like date of births, member types, allergies, voting member etc. I'm sure these fields could be useful for other types of businesses as well.
