Contact - Save and add another
When entering multiple contacts, it would be good to have the option to "save and create new contact" as well as the "Cancel" and "Save and Close" option after entering the information. Currently you have to press Save and Close, go back to Contacts, then select New Contact.
6 votesDo you often find yourself adding multiple new contacts at a time, Karen? While we don't have plans for a save and add another atm, you could either import contacts, or use the create new icon (+) in the blue navigation menu to streamline this process a little more. 🙂

Contacts - Seperate customer mailing lists
Ability to select different mailing lists for 1 customer. This will be useful when you have different projects for the same supplier.
5 votesHi Amna, could you explain your idea a little more? Would this be to send bulk comms to multiple contacts from Xero, or something like being able to set different persons on a contacts record to receive different types of transactions or communications?

Contacts - Allow macrons for languages (such as te reo)
We use another software programme which exports all our customer details and invoices etc into Xero automatically. The other programme uses Google to create addresses. A lot of the addresses include te reo, so include macrons. When the text is imported into Xero the macrons cause non-recognition of the characters, so we end up with a mess.
Surely in this modern world, Xero, an Aotearoa, New Zealand, developed programme, can be made to recognise our indigenous (Official) language, and allow correct te reo spellings.
This is 2022 not 1922, please allow us to get this basic NZ requirement correct. Xero…15 votesHi Karin, would it be possible to get a few more examples of names that you've tried to import and not have show with macrons?
One of our team have tested creating a contact via import with the name Whakatāne (/mækrn, me-/) and this created a contact in Xero as shown in this image.
It'd be great to better understand and see if we can look into this a bit more.

Invoice Reminders - Set up for a Contact group
It would be great if we could turn automated invoice reminders on and off for contact groups, rather than needing to do it for each individial contact.

Hubdoc - Convert bank statement to csv file
We would like Hubdoc to convert an uploaded Bank statement into a csv file.

Currently, this feature is only available in the US and Canada. We know this tool will also be valuable to other regions and we'll be sure to update you with any new information about it becoming available globally.

Hubdoc - Document Merge
Ability to merge documents in Hubdoc.
Purpose: To easily combine separated pages of a document into one.
194 votesThanks for your input here, everyone. Our team is currently looking into adding a document merge feature into their roadmap. However, no dates are planned for when this will be implemented.
That said, we’ll move the status of the idea into ‘Under review’, so please continue to add your vote and give us your comment on how this feature can improve your workflow.
For now, you can merge your documents outside Hubdoc, then upload/email it into Hubdoc. Feel free to also share some options here on how you merge the documents before you put it into Hubdoc.
