Document Management - Fully Migrate Hubdoc Functionality into Xero User Interface
The HubDoc Ui/Ux is outdated, we all know it. But its a good product. With the addition of the "Upload Bills" feature to Xero, it would make sense to just bring the full functionality of HubDoc right into the Ui of Xero rather than invest in the standalone product of HubDoc. It keeps us on one screen within Xero and eliminates all the nuances of the sync/integration.
Maintaining backup to DropBox or Google Drive is key though. That makes it feel like a 'safe' backup method for receipts.

I agree with this suggestion. Having document management, receipt capture, and bill processing all within the Xero interface would create a much smoother workflow and reduce the need to switch between separate products. The current Hubdoc functionality is useful, but the experience can feel disconnected when managing large volumes of documents.
Keeping cloud backup options such as Google Drive or Dropbox is also important from both a compliance and peace-of-mind perspective. We've seen similar preferences among users managing digital records and verification processes on projects like (http://www.smartsimreg.ph), where having a reliable backup and easy document access significantly improves the overall user experience.
A more unified document management system inside Xero would definitely add value for many businesses.

Create Hudoc to remain in XERO so we don't have to leave to many apps.
But most importantly send alerts automated to certain staff or users who have not uploaded their receipts and alert when its outside of company policy.
I need to have 4-5 apps just to use Xero with gusto. With expenses. Competitor is one app -
