Hiding archived accounts from chart of accounts list when customising report layouts, perhaps with a tick box to show or hide the archived accounts. It makes the job of customising layouts so tedious when the old messy chart of accounts come up every time and you can’t hide the archived accounts!

This is essential. Especially now the new format reports are being imposed. Please add this option!

Yes this is critical, especially because those accounts also appears into other consolidation systems integrated with Xero.

Alternatively - excluding all archived accounts altogether. On the premise that archived accounts are those you don't want to see - ever!!!
