Inventory | Reports - Report that lists item sales and customer name and email address
We need to be able to create a report that lists inventory item sales and includes the customer name AND other customer contact information such as email address or phone number.
There have been occasions where I've needed to contact a large group of customers that have purchased a product from me due to a misprint in a book or an update to a title. At present, the only way I can do this is to export my inventory report and add the contacts manually. Xero Support Specialist - Daniel has confirmed this.
Hi team, rounding back to the idea here we want to be open that this isn't a report that we have any plans for developing at this time.
That said, there is a feature in Xero today that may help you achieve what you're in need of - Smart Lists
With smart lists you can set criteria for items that customers have or haven't purchased from you within a period of time. You can either have this compare across all items or run smart lists for specific items. Search results can then be exported from Xero if you'd like to do more with them. Thanks

I would like a report that gives me a summary of number of items sold contacts. We have a number of items we sell and I cannot see a report showing a summary of how many of each item the distributors (contacts) bought over a time period.

So dumb that this cannot be done....or has anything changed Xero? We need exactly the same. Want to see which customers have purchased a product so we can reach back out to them, but 900 of them and no clear way of exporting their email addresses from Xero.
