Trial Balance - Enable "Edit Layout"
As a workaround for an issue caused by the obsolete Xero payroll service, Xero support suggested that I use the "edit layout" feature to group 2 accounts in the report. However, Trial Balance does not have an "edit layout" button, so I am stuck displaying 2 accounts that have canceling balances. One of the accounts is the system Accounts Payable account so I am not able to resolve the issue "correctly" with a manual journal entry. Editing the report layout is my only option.

The trial balance needs to be editable or at least the way the groups are organised needs to be changed. When you select from the groups which are currently available, it puts them in alphabetical order which is not reflective of how it should be (Income & Expenses groups should be adjacent, and the Assets & Liabilities groups should be adjacent)

Provide functionality in Xero for the Trial Balance to show the balance sheet nominals at the top and the Profit and Loss nominals at the bottom of the report.

Make Trial Balance editable
The trial balance would benefit to being editable as the defined groups in Xero are not necessarily the same groups that a company would use.
Also - the debits and credits balance would benefit from being a balance

Please allow editing layout and grouping of accounts in Trial Balance which can make the XERO more Competitive with other brands like MYOB for finalization. Allowing Grouping of accounts in Trial Balance will make the Xero product more compatible & Inclusive
