UK Tax - Prepare/File historic tax returns through Xero
It would be useful to be able to file historic tax returns prior to the dates shown in Xero. I have a client who submitted his own accounts but has never submitted his own tax returns so we need to file 4 returns for him but we are only able to go back 2 years.

This would be really useful. These scenarios happen much more often than you would expect.
The possibility to amend the dates for the tax return being submitted (as can be done in other software, such as Taxcalc) would also be a good feature. I had a client whose return was coming up with the wrong dates (as Xero forces the dates from Companies House) when February 29th came around.

Currently Xero only allows you to prepare Corporation Tax returns for the current and previous period. Sometimes you will need to amend an earlier period's return, or create a return for a period that was missed previously for some reason.
These can't be filed online, and would need to go via post, but it would be great to be able to populate them within Xero rather than require handwriting them onto a print out and potentially transposing figures incorrectly.
