CIS: Mark CIS returns as filed when submitted outside of Xero
It is not possible for CIS returns to be marked as filed when submitted outside of Xero, resulting in historic returns showing as overdue.
It would be helpful to mark CIS returns as filed when submitted outside of Xero, as is currently possible with VAT returns.

The ability to mark CIS Returns as submitted manually if filed outside of Xero. It is unhelpful to have a list of returns which state they are overdue, despite the fact they have been filed externally from xero - it causes confusion when checking workflows and doesn't accurately represent a true reflection of the client's data.

Completely agree, we need to be able to clear old CIS returns that were filed directly with HMRC so that they don't show as overdue.

This is really important so that it avoids duplication of posting a CIS return and also maintaining tidy records. It is possible to do this for personal tax returns & VAT returns so it would be good to have this option for CIS.
