Suggestion to Include Tax ID Number in Xero Reports
Dear Xero Support Team,
I would like to suggest an improvement to the Xero reporting system that would be highly beneficial for businesses operating in the Maldives.
At present, customer Tax ID numbers cannot be included as a column or filter option in reports or invoice listings. This creates a practical challenge, as the Tax ID number is a mandatory requirement for GST and TGST return submissions in the Maldives. Every customer transaction must be reported with the correct Tax ID information.
Because this field is not available in generated reports, users are required to manually collect and compile the data from individual records. This process increases workload, consumes additional time, and raises the risk of errors in tax reporting.
It would be extremely helpful if Xero could add the Tax ID number as an available field in report generation and filtering options. This enhancement would allow businesses to produce accurate tax reports directly from the system and remain fully compliant with local regulations.
