Total Variance at the bottom of the manual journals decreases before you click out of the amount box
The variance at the bottom of the journals in red changes when you type in a balancing number, but it happens before you click out of the DR or CR box. It seems to decrease as soon as you enter an amount by the first number you enter.
I have uploaded some screenshots to demonstrate this better.
In the "Before Entering Data" screenshot, you can see my variance is $35,329.
I then enter a number in the "Balancing figure" line that is starting with a 2 and the total variance at the bottom in red decreases by 2 as soon as I entered that number.
The same happens if I enter a number 9.
This is frustrating, as we use the variance to know the figures we need to enter in the journal.
