Purchase - Add schedule payment date from within the transaction
Payment Schedule Date - add from other screens
Make it easier to schedule payment dates. I love the ability to schedule payment dates but it is only available from one screen. It would be great to be able to add a schedule payment date from within the purchase. That would mean you could approve and schedule from the one screen.

@Danielle Sandusky - sorry I did not see your response previously, if you have not already found how to schedule a payment. It can ONLY be done from within the "awaiting payments" tab, add the planned date and BAM, it's scheduled.
My issue is that we should be able to schedule from any tab in the purchases overview but most specifically from within the purchase.
@Xero - the reason I ask this is so that when we approve a bill we can approve and schedule from the one screen, without having to go out of that screen and into awaiting payments. Please, please have this added ASAP. I use the planned payments feature daily and LOVE it but it could be soooo much better by adding this.

Please Xero! I thought of adding a Bill.com subscription for just the ability to schedule payments, but the onboarding was a mess and there are wayyy too many overlapping features. I would be happy to pay extra on my Xero subscription for just this feature.

Tanya where are you able to schedule payment dates? When I go to my Bills to Pay screen, my only option is to pay immediately. When I ask Xero Support, I'm told scheduling the payment date is not an option.

Any updates on this - Would be great to add the planned payment date once the bill is created an approved. I have that info available immediately and going in to another screen to do this is long winded.

It would make our workflow and our clients workflow so much easier if we could do the following all in one step or from the same screen:
1. Approve the bill
2. Allocate a payment date
3. Allocate a payment amount for that date
4. If the amount is not the full amount, set another payment date for the remainder of the amount -

Yes please!!!! Seems crazy to have a fantastic feature like scheduling bills but only be able to access it from one location. This makes an extra 4 clicks and a process interruption in order to schedule bills, which could all be done at the same time as scheduling.

It would be great to also be able to enter this in HubDoc and have it flow through to Xero
