Purchase order - Include attachments when converting to Bill
When converting a Purchase Order to a bill it would be great if there was a way of transferring any PDFs attached to the PO to the Bill. At the moment you need to remember to do this manually.
Hi team, we appreciate interest and why you may want to copy documents from a source transaction when creating a bill.
We want to be open that this isn't something we have immediate plans for developing. For the time being we will continue to watch the support this idea builds closely here. If there is any progress we'll be sure to let you know

Our Project Managers/Employees use purchase orders everyday for materials on job sites and attach invoices, so our accounts department can convert to bill and pay immediately. Therefore it would save our accounts time with downloading invoice and attaching to bill. If there is the possibility of invoice being copied over when PO is converted to Bill.

When marking a purchase order as billed, you get the option to copy the P.O to an bill, it would save a lot of time if it there is the option to copy the attachments along or at least see it in the newly created bill.

A few clients have been getting very frustrated that this isn't an option yet, its time wasted on what feels like a duplicate process. Would love to see this feature in the future too

Currently any supporting documents attached to a purchase order are not transferred to the Bill when the PO is marked for Billing. The documents have to be re-attached. It would be very handy if the Bill could be created with the transfer of these supporting documents.

The transfer of PDFs from a PO to a bill would fully streamline the process in Xero
