Bills to pay - Add column for 'Account'
Please add a setting option or a column for display details about "Account" in the table shown in "Bills to pay" instead of only showing "Ref" which the information of "Account" is important and moreover we don't need to waste time to entry "Ref" for checking.
Hi team, thanks for showing support in this idea. We want to be open that this isn't a data point we have any plans of surfacing from the Bills list pages at this time. There's also the consideration where a bill can have multiple lines where each can have a different Account code, and how this would appear.
That said since this idea was first raised we have made a few improvements that will help solve needs here.
You can now select and choose from more data points to show on the list view, and drag & drop where you'd like these to show on the table - just click the 'Columns' button on the top left of the table.
We have also introduced quick view, where you can click the eye icon in the table to easily scan, review and take actions on bills without leaving the list - You could use this view to check the Account of a bill, and use the down and up arrows to quickly navigate to previous or next bill to review.
Appreciate interest in this idea around surfacing payment type as a column we have another idea that I'd encourage adding your support for.

It is critical that a payment type column should be added. I have to check each bill in case they are credit card paid bills (before statement upload) in case I pay thinking they are bills to be paid by bank (feed). This can result in bills being paid twice by card and bank unnoticed.
If Dext can have a column for payment type, surely Xero can too? -

I want to create 1more column "reference" in bill to pay,
that is 1refernce for code accounting form Example: Payment voucher, Bank Voucher, Petty cash,.....
and other one for supplier invoice number to tax government.
