Bills - Expand smart document feature to all international regional editions
In "The Long and Short of It" in April 2026 Xero released "Extract bill line items straight from Smart Document Capture". Although this says it is Global I have also seen elsewhere where this is only in the UK.
Release this globally. Also, instead of just having it be entered as a Spend Money, have these extract to Bills also.

Your bills are now as easy to capture as your receipts. Smart Document Capture can now extract data from bills - one of our most requested features. Now, smart document capture pulls multiple line items from a bill directly within the document capture screen, meaning less manual data entry and no switching between tools.
Bills created this way appear straight in your Bills page in Xero, ready for further action. It's the same seamless experience you already have for receipts, now extended to cover bills too.
