Claude - File upload to auto create bills
You upload a bill — a PDF, a photo, a scan — into a conversation with Claude. Claude reads it, extracts all the key details (vendor name, amounts, line items, due date, tax, account codes), and creates the bill directly in Xero through the connector. No retyping, no copying numbers between screens, no switching apps. Drop the file in, confirm the details look right, and it's done.
Scale that up and you're processing a whole batch of supplier invoices in a single conversation, each one flowing into Xero accurately without touching the Xero UI at all.

Appreciate you'd be keen to see this directly through Claude, Deny's however in the meantime just wanted to highlight the upload file options that can work alongside our new Smart document capture to perform a very similar process to what you're asking here.
For now, we'l get a wider sense of interest for being able to do this with Claude through your idea here. 🙂
