  1. HAVE A PHONE LINE!

    Xero claims "24/7 support" - This is a fraudulent claim.

    Denying your clients a number to call is not only repugnant customer service, it is spitting in the face of people who pay for your product.

    Whoever had the idea to save money by not having a number to call should be let go, uncerimoniously

  2. Create a button on Jax that allows the dialog box to "Pop Out" or detach from Xero. It makes no sense that I have to copy directions from Jax to paste into Word so I can follow the often multi-step instructions that cannot be done while Jax is active.

  3. The automatic, timed log-out leaves data visible on screen for a few seconds before reverting to a log-in screen. This may be browser specific (I tend to use Chrome) but there is a small security or privacy risk when this happens if whoever sees it isn't meant to. And once you know it happens, you can plan for it. I haven't tried it yet, but a screengrab seems a simple approach. I'm not clear on the mechanism to fix this, however, but I thought it would be a good, if trivial, improvement.

  4. When speaking to Xero support on a chat can Xero show the date, time of each part of the chat please like most other providers do each time each party of the chat types something in. It's really handy to refer back to.

  5. Sometimes the Xero outage prevents logging into the platform therefore, raising a case through Xero Central is not an option. It is also quite a process to get to the point where you can raise a case even if you do have access to Xero.
    A more efficient way for your customers to notify you of any faults is to do so directly from the status page.

  6. XERO Tax the Tax practitioners Board TPB and the ATO have placed strict requirements on tax agents to sight identification of new clients. Both the TPB and the ATO have advised that you are unable to have a face-to-face meeting and sight the actual documents, then it is highly recommended that the Tax Agent uses a security system or secure link to transfer documents. Xero should look at this service to assist with satisfying the security of certain documents.

    I am writing to formally raise concerns about the ongoing system outages, performance issues, and the broader impact these disruptions are having on my ability to complete client work.
    Over recent months, Xero has experienced repeated outages too many changes and significant slowdowns. These issues directly affect productivity, delay essential bookkeeping and compliance tasks, and ultimately result in lost income. As a bookkeeper who relies on Xero daily, this level of instability is becoming increasingly difficult to manage.

    Should not have to move the mouse into the box and click before typing in 2FA

  9. Dear Xero Team,

    I would like to share a constructive observation regarding the Purchases module, specifically around the management and automated processing of bills.

    From a user perspective, the bills segment currently feels underserved and lacking ongoing optimization. This represents a clear opportunity for improvement and growth. Many of us who use Xero regularly recognize that the automated invoice capture and processing system does not meet expectations, particularly in terms of data extraction accuracy.

    While the feature that allows forwarding invoices to a designated Xero email address is a step in the right direction, it has notable limitations in practice:
