Hi everyone, we appreciate your engagement with us about Just Ask Xero(JAX) and concerns shared on the data this model uses.
To confirm the LLMs are not trained using any Xero data. The AI behind JAX uses LLMs available from commercial vendors like Microsoft, Google and Amazon, (we have commercial agreements that prevent them from training their models with our customers data), as well as proprietary technology, JAX Assure, that works in concert to support accuracy and security.
JAX is currently in beta - Once your organisation is invited to opt-in to the beta, you can trigger the opt-in buy sending JAX a message in the pop-up window of your dashboard.
However, if you’re not interested in using JAX, don’t send a message, and the assistant won’t be activated. You can also dismiss the pop-up using the 'x' in the top right corner. You'll be prompted once more and can…

For trans or non-binary employees this is a critical feature that should be there. Why is there an option to choose a non-binary employee, but then no option to use their preferred name instead of their given names?

Thanks for your expressions and feedback in a bulk download or print facility for Files (either from the Files library or at an individual transaction level)
We know that bulk operations can be handy, however at this time we have no plans to develop this functionality. We know it might seem like a small feat, however often even small change is more tightly woven and intricate to solve beneath the surface.
While we understand this must be frustrating to hear, we’re currently focused on making improvements in other areas of Xero and are unable to prioritise a bulk download or print feature right now.
However, in situations like these there are often connected apps through the Xero App Store that may be able to assist. We appreciate and will revise solutions that could fulfil needs in this space, but want to be honest this isn’t something we have plans for…An error occurred while saving the comment Kat de Bruijn commented
I just received an email from the new CEO.... with her email address in it! I've already complained, if we all complain at least we have a new set of ears that may hear us! Her email address is ceo@xero.com.

I don't want JAX, I didn't ask for it, I will never use it. How can you legally even integrate this into Xero without an opprtunity to opt out?
Besides all the obvious reasons I don't want AI anywhere near my data, I don't want to add to the climate nightmare by using AI.
Doesn't anyone care about how bad this is for the environment? AI and its computers and data centres use an enormous amount of electricity. Which makes our electricity more expensive, so not only are we ripped off by Xero's extreme prices, we now have to pay more for our own electricity because Xero decided we need JAX. Which we don't.
Seriously we were much, much better off before someone thought it would be a good idea to develop AI.
