Hey Everyone! Thanks for the feedback on the New Workpapers experience. Xero Ask is available on the Classic Workpapers but as yet not available in the new Workpapers experience. We've reviewed your idea and moved it to Gaining Support and now it's up to the community to get behind and support it. Thanks for the feedback about our new Workpapers solution! We have a close eye on this feedback as the team continue to develop this product.

Hi 👋 thanks for continued feedback on the New Workpapers. This particular idea has been moved to Gaining Support, which will allow others to vote and comment! Hi team, we appreciate your feedback as you get stuck in to trying our our new Workpapers. Our team have been monitoring feedback closely and I'd like to share that we're in the process of developing a GST Workpaper in our new solution. We'll be back to share once it's released. 😊

Hi team, apologies we jumped the gun a touch on the idea here.
Like previously mentioned, right now you can attach documents and links, set flexible workpaper periods, and use basic calculation sheets in the new experience.
Currently our team are exploring how we might further enhance Workpapers with variations for tailored templates, and support direct importing of reports to improve the way data moves across your compliance steps. We'll share as we have more updates for you around this.

Hi everyone, we appreciate your feedback, and have been monitoring this change closely.
We appreciate the differing needs of our customers our product team have temporarily removed the notification changes mentioned in my previous update - This means this'll reduce the amount of email notification you're receiving from expenses.
We're looking into enabling more controls for expense notifications and I'll come back to share any further news around this with you here.

While our team has continued to consider this idea since our last update, being upfront with you all here we want to share that this isn't in our current roadmap and unlikely to be developed in the near term.
For this reason, we'll move this to Not in pipeline however should anything change this we'll certainly share an update with you all here.

Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback here. It’s great to see so much engagement on this idea, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
We understand you’re looking for the ability to create your own report code structures within Xero that'd allow for more detailed and flexible reporting, helping to automate processes and provide clearer insights for your clients.
As noted by others in the idea, you can currently leverage the existing report code mapping functionality. While it doesn't allow for entirely new report codes, you can map multiple chart of account codes to the same report codes to group them for reporting.
To do this in bulk, you can also export your chart of accounts, apply the mapping in a CSV, and then re-import it.
We see the value in providing more customisation in reporting. Right now we have some more codes…

Hi, yes, would like to see the ability to rename the user defined codes.
Also for not for profit entities further report codes are needed as there has been a change to the financial reporting standards, which can be adopted from this year so this would be really good. Thanks

Agree with everyone else, accountants need access to assist but don't want notifications for 100s of clients submitting their requests. Please make this feature an option for the people it applies to not a blanket notification alert for everyone needing to access expense claims
