Specific GST workpaper
Is a GST workpaper being developed or would there be one similar to the GST workpaper in exisiting workpapers? We are onboarding staff to old workpapers so having similar or improved workpapers would be useful.

The Old Classic Workpaper worked great for assistance on the reconciliation. This workpaper now is bare and not helpful at all. Having to continually use the Spreedsheet to do own calcs is incredibly time consuming and frustrating when the Old workpaper worked well :(

Wow the GST workpaper is seriously undercooked - how does one show the GST return filed at the IRD and then align back to the GL balance if there is no consistent area for these workings, and then showing adjustments etc since.

Wasn't that keen on the one in the old workpapers - but there is nothing at present!

As previously mentioned by Barbara, If the GST workpaper can include the reconciliation table as was in the Classic Workpapers - that would be ideal.

Will Xero be building the GST workpaper by extracting ATO BAS lodgments into the workpaper. Building the GST reconciliation with lodged data is time consuming. The data is there on the Portal, surely it can be dragged into the GST reconciliation workpaper automatically. This would save so much time.

Access to a GST reconciliation workpaper similar to the one in Workpaper Classic is critical to having a complete set of workpapers
