Thanks so much for taking the time to share this idea and for adding your feedback here 💙
We hear that you feel this would be an improvement, and while this is something the team has considered, it’s not currently in the pipeline and we’re unable to share plans to take this forward right now. We know that may be disappointing, especially given the support for this idea, and we really appreciate you continuing to tell us what would make the biggest difference for your practice. If anything changes, we’ll be sure to update you on this thread.

Thank you for the interest and feedback you have shared on this idea, everyone.
We'd like to provide some clarification of what is currently possible which may help some users here, and have slightly adjusted the title with the main request being around the ability to add registered office address as a field to a Clients record.
Within the new unified client experience you can add multiple addresses to a Contact of a Client. While there isn't a specific option for 'Registered office address' you can select 'Other address' or choose from one of the preset (Street, Postal, or Delivery) options.
At the client level, we appreciate individual Contact addresses may differ to the Client registered office address - Our product team are now working to add registered address as a field for 'Company' type business structures and I'll return to share news of it's release with you all here.

We understand that managing duplicate contacts can take extra time, and we appreciate everyone who has shared feedback on this. For now, the best workaround is to manually edit and consolidate the details of duplicate contacts before deleting them, as some of you have already pointed out. While this idea isn't currently planned for development, we’re continuing to capture and review feedback as we consider future improvements to Xero Practice Manager. We’ll share any updates here if that changes.

Hi everyone, I want to assure you your voice is heard here and feedback is being shared back with our product teams.
We understand the desire to get this idea moving along and as mentioned in our last update we know this is an area that more controls and permissions would be most beneficial to our customers.
We’d like to share progress that we’re making for banking permissions - Work to provide more controls of sensitive banking information has started and will initially include the ability to restrict users from seeing sensitive banking information such as; account balances, bank transactions, and financial summaries.
We know this doesn’t relieve all pain points of this idea - It’ll be the first phase, a stepping stone of sorts in the development of per-bank controls.
As development continues we’ll share further updates as soon as they’re available with you all here.
Thank you for…

Thanks everyone for the continued support on this idea, and for sharing the detail of how this'd help in your day-to-day work.
We understand this request is especially important for customers and advisors who are working with PDF statements when a direct bank feed isn’t available, when a bank doesn’t offer a usable CSV export, or when manually converting and cleaning statement data adds extra time and effort.
When we last updated this idea, we shared that PDF bank statement conversion had been introduced in limited regions. Since then, we’ve continued to look closely at where we can best improve the document capture and data entry experience across Xero.
Hubdoc remains a core part of our offering, however to be transparent we’re currently focused on delivering more efficiencies through Xero directly - such as with our new Smart Document Capture within Xero Files.
With that in mind, there isn’t any…

We hear you team! Thank you for continuing to share back with us here, and a big thanks to those that registered interest and provided input to the teams earlier research.
Right now, there's still some discovery going on around this functionality, but I want to assure you this is a feature our team are keen to develop.
While the first round of research helped inform our team they want to dive deeper into some of the aspects surrounding this feature that'll help ensure we create a solution that'll best fit majority of businesses.
We'd like to give provide the opportunity to everyone here to participate in this and if you can spare a few minutes, our team have prepared a few questions in this form 📝 that we'd love your feedback on.
We want to keep you updated as work progresses on this, and I'll be back to share…

Hi team, wanting to provide an update to you here, we want you to know we understand the efficiency more users would like to have in being able to automate the creation of the Xero subscription invoice inside their Xero org.
To highlight from my last update for UK users this is possible with eInvoicing through the online invoice (My Bills page).
This is still something we're interested in developing in more regions however isn't planned in our roadmap just yet.
When resource opens up for us to be able to pick this work up we will share an update with you all on this here. Thanks for staying engaged and supporting in this idea.

Please add this suggestion to the top of the list! We are now thinking of opening a separate Xero cashbook just to keep the contents of the affected bank accounts confidential, and that is not a very efficient method.
