Hi community, we appreciate your continued feedback on having different default email addresses for various transaction types in Xero contacts, and the manual steps involved to ensure you're communicating with the right person for different purposes.

Currently, one way of managing this in Xero would be to include every additional person on a contact record in emails, and then removing those that aren't required when sending each transaction. However we totally get this isn't the ideal solution.

While being able to set different email addresses for differing transaction types is something we want to address longer term, like the idea for multiple addresses work for this feature requires cross-collaboration between teams in order to achieve.

Once the multiple addresses feature is live this is something we'll be able to consider more closely and provide further updates on.

We do regularly review all ideas here, and your input is vital. We'll…

The ability to link a contact for sending quotes to only, or invoices. Within organisations it will normally be a manager who needs to receive the quote, who has the authority to accept and the accounts team don't want to see the quote, only to receive the invoice.

I agree, it was very useful to have the activity tab, and is important support we can offer our clients.
I would regard this as critical and a great feature that should not have been changed.
Along with those who are yet to reconcile their bank account up to the last month end.

Hi everyone, as another step toward improving history of new invoicing you'll find you'll now see an entry when an invoice is sent, and the email address it has been sent to.

We appreciate this is something we've heard a fair amount of feedback on and we hope helps in your journey to using new invoicing.

We still have more enhancements on the way for history and I'll be back again when more updates land.

Thank you for your feedback on the changes for NZ GST returns here, everyone. Late Claims display in the body of the return, to review them. If you click on this the Transaction tab will open and to toggle Late claims on and off, select the 'More' option.

Late claims have been separated into their own section in the Transactions tab, and if needed you can also use the Filter to choose to only view Late Claims. We'll soon be updating the export to PDF to allow late claims to be excluded.

We want to be open that we don't have plans for separating these back into their own tab and will close this idea. We still very much appreciate your feedback and will continue to iterate on this overtime to make filling and filing GST for an organisation simpler and more efficient.

Hi community, appreciate your feedback on the new GST return and detail of how the Publish feature is useful to you. While we don't have immediate plans for developing this in the new return, this is something we're monitoring and will consider as a future improvement. If there is any change around this we'll share this with you all through the idea here.

As per comment above I agree. All of our clients are used to accessing reports under the published tab.
It's one easy place for them to access what we have generated for them versus downloading and saving somewhere on your computer/cloud.
