Heya everyone, thanks for your input to Product Ideas and letting us know the value of the CGT worksheet for you.
We're going to move this idea to Under Review as this is something the team have planned over the next 12 months. There are a few other pieces of work lined up before this, so we'll share news when this progresses. Thanks

An error occurred while saving the comment Xero Ideas at GT commentedNot having the year means that the form does not actually show the information being lodged, which is not acceptable.
This has become an issue for a particular client of ours where we had to show evidence that we lodged a CURNN for a particular year and that the client had signed that form, but the document did not show the year so it was useless.Xero Ideas at GT supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Xero Ideas at GT commentedThis is basic function of a good CRM. It is critical to assist with many aspects including data cleansing and data quality, understanding what and why something in the system has occurred, and for security - for example so we can see who has changed bank account details and when.

An error occurred while saving the comment Xero Ideas at GT commentedThis is a significant issue for us. Not only do we continue to pay for these subscriptions, but when we deactivate a staff member, they don't get removed from archived clients (including those we don't own). This is a risk issue.
A client should NOT be able to be archived with an active subscription. Alternatively, at least have the ability to report on these, showing who owns the subscription etc so we can address these in a timely manner. Reporting is currently not available via HQ or PM!!
Currently the only option is to manually go page by page in the Archived list - but this is not possible for us as we have 9,000+ archived clients.
Further, there is no audit trail to determine when a client was archived, by whom and why it was archived.
We could prevent staff from archiving by removing their client 'delete' access in XPM, but that creates a significant administrative burden on a small number of people to archive all clients including individuals and others who don't have an active Xero subscription attached. We are a large firm and this would not work for us.
All these are basic functions of a quality CRM, that provide practical and secure solutions. Yet they are missing in Xero.

It's good to know the small changes that can make a difference to our customers. Thank you for all sharing with us on the idea, here. Our team are looking into a solution at the organisation level, that'd enable you to remove the Date from footer for all reports exported to PDF. While they explore this we'll move the idea to Under review and I'll be back to share more as this moves along.

Hiya team, we understand the importance of being able to get ahead and create future tax forms in Xero. While work for this isn't underway just yet, we have plans to develop Company Tax Returns(CTR) for the future over the next 12 months. We know there are some in the idea here very much interested in Trust Tax Returns(TRT), however these will be further out, after CTR's.
We'll keep you updated on any progress of this in the idea here. Thanks

Hi everyone, we appreciate all your feedback on how we could evolve roles for customers using Xero. As you can see through the ideas on the platform, there are a wide range of combinations of permissions our customers want to see us build. As user roles impact all areas of the product, there are many considerations we must factor in when assessing how to solve for majority of our customers needs.
We’re beginning to conduct research on the current landscape and how we might approach some of the most predominant needs in roles for our customers. Front footing this, the discovery of this work will be long winded and there will be multiple phases of research and forms of engagement with users that’ll help shape the path ahead in this space.
We’d like to invite you, our community to be part of this research and discovery. This may involve interviews…An error occurred while saving the comment Xero Ideas at GT commentedRole based security is fundamental to any user based system and is required to properly manage user access efficiently and effectively, particularly when there are hundreds of users.
Because there is no granular user security, we have many users who can access areas they don't need to. This is a risk issue and also creates additional work.
This function is required across all Xero modules including HQ.Xero Ideas at GT supported this idea · -

Hi everyone, coming back across the idea here we wanted to clarify existing behaviour.
When you remove a staff member from HQ this automatically removes all org access, as long as those orgs are linked to client records, and as long as the client records are active (not archived) - Meaning you don't need to manually remove access to each org one by one.
The few cases where you would need to manually remove one by one would be if a client is archived or an org is not linked to a client record at the time of staff removal.
We intend to improve this experience and provide better visibility of staff access in the longer term, so when there is more progress on this I'll return to update you here.
An error occurred while saving the comment Xero Ideas at GT commentedThis is a significant risk issue. Although we ask clients to never invite staff direct to their file, it always happens and we do not have any oversight of this.

Would be beneficial to have this as a printing option that could be toggled on or off depending on the circumstances.
