Hi Amanda and Sandy, I want to let you know that you can upload your document or invoice directly into Xero Files without using Hubdoc, and you can assign it from there - See more on our article.
If you’re looking into publishing the document from Hubdoc to Xero files, you can do it too. And you can read more here.
In saying that, let us know if you’re actually after something else.

Adding to this - many clients append "DD" to the supplier name to reduce the chance of double paying. This is ugly, and any apps that integrate with the Xero Contacts then need workarounds. We still see double paying often enough that this is a material problem and not just a nice-to-have.

Land sales between GST registered entities are generally compulsorily Zero Rated. I guess this idea hasn't got many votes because we've been resigned to having to work around it for the last 10 years. It creates a hidden pitfall to the GST return process which is often performed by less technical staff; I've had to amend more than a few GST returns directly because of this. We must be able to assign the Zero Rated Tax Rate to Fixed Asset codes. This isn't a feature, it's a bug to be patched.

Things like tax returns change fairly frequently. Not all new features are entirely self-explanatory. Xero Support's Articles are simple and aimed at giving new users basic information, but often lack the detail to be used as an ongoing resource.
I'd suggest adding changelogs to Xero Central Support pages/articles for existing products that have been updated.
For example the IR6 tax return has changed in the 2025 year to match tax law. Estates are still able to use the 33% tax rate in their first 4 years, but the return defaults to the 39% rate.
Existing users will review the Tax tab as the logical first step, then might check the IR6 support page/article. Neither have the answer.
A changelog on the support article would make it easier for users that are familiar with the product to quickly get up to speed with changes.
Product update webinars are fine, but are poor as searchable, permanent resources.
