Sort of I would prefer the ability to view the product cost + GP or Margin when I am making up a quote, not all get the same price.

Appreciate the feedback and interest through the idea here. Being open this isn't something we have plans for at this stage. Current focus is on new invoicing and improving the experience for our users as we edge closer to the retirement of classic invoicing.
We'll continue to keep our eyes on all sales flow ideas in the forums here and will let you know if there's any updates to share on this idea.

Hi Mark, as cost price of items can change over time, if you often associate specific items you're selling to sales you make to your customers perhaps Billable expenses?
When you add the expenses to your customers invoice this will bring across the cost price of the items you've assigned.

I got super excited that I would be able to use Xero for quotes, reasons I love it: is really easy to import the products, much more flexible than our ERP we use for sales, BUT I need to be able to see the cost pricing when generating the quote, or at least to be able to set/see the GP%/Margin. Without this I cannot use. Very sad. Seems that Xero is just not keeping up with how business works.

Hi team, we appreciate the added feedback from you on the behaviours from classic that you'd find useful in new invoicing. The invoice number assignment is still a feature that our teams are continuing to monitor closely. Right now, while we don’t have plans for changing the way invoice numbers are assigned, our product teams are considering future improvements - As part of this they are doing some discovery that we’d love to get your contribution to.

This is essential in 2024, it needs to be easily be re-sent each year, or when a contact's email bounces. It does not have to be complicated; a basic online form with the required details added into Xero contacts.
