Thanks for starting the idea here, Renee.
Just to clarify, when you say ‘duplicate a contact’ would this be; the ability to duplicate an entire client (including all its contacts), to duplicate a contact within an existing client, or duplicate a contact from one client to another?
If the last, we have a similar idea over here that I can join you in with. 🙂

YES PLEASE, it is so silly we can't duplicate a client recvord then rename it and save it as a new one. I am thinking of spouse, thinking of client setting up a business entity. it would save so much time if you could just copy all the details over and edit what you need to change.

I too would dearly love to see this feature, you can select them all, would be nice if there were some options including "resend signature request" rather than having to go into each one individually and do it

Hi Richard, thanks for sharing this idea. We understand how having a report that shows a client's total ATO debt in one place could make it easier for practices to monitor outstanding tax obligations and prepare for client conversations.
We'll keep on monitoring the interest on this idea. If this is something you'd like to see, please keep voting and let us know what information you'd like to be included in this report.

This is an excellent idea, i would even take it a step further and include all ATO accounts, not jsut the ICA. I came in here to post a suggestion of being able to download a report from the ATO for ALL client debt across all their ATO accounts, Tax, GST, Super etc etc .... atm there is no mechanism provided by the ATO to see ALL client debt. The report they offer only includes teh ICA and if there is a debt on another account which also has ICA debt, it will then show, but if no ICA debt, no ability to see the debt, short of going in and clicking on each individual client.

Hi everyone, we appreciate the interest surrounding this idea, however we want to be open that we're unable to extend our log-out time past 60 minutes. Xero hold a lot of sensitive information including bank data and we're required to be as secure as online banking.
Any session information running on a web browser can potentially be stolen. If the session does not time out. You then have an infinitely long vulnerability window to session hijacking. Our best option is to keep a tight expiration window on the session cookie, and regenerate them frequently. Even setting a long timeout doesn't help with this - too long a timeout will greatly increase the risk of invasion or potentially jeopardise your personal data and the safety and integrity of the Xero application itself. This is why we maintain control of this.
If we detect there's been no activity on a page (e.g…

Hi community, thank you for engaging with us about your needs in a report to view where attachments have not been uploaded to a transaction.
We get how this is a need for some businesses to validify expenses and process payments.
Right now, this isn't in the teams roadmap, however we'd like to keep tracking the interest around this and will share if it is picked up in any future planning with you all here.

This is DEFINTELY needed, lots of small family businesses are Husband & Wife teams and more often than not have a joint bank account. so being able to pay into the same bank account with more than one employee is pretty important.
At the very least, being able to exclude someone from the pay run, by setting their payment method to "manual payment" like they can do in the UK already in Xero. I feel like we need that here as a workaround till the issue is fixed properly.
