We're interested to understand the interest in being able to add multiple emails to a clients record, for the purposes of setting these up for different purposes.
It would be great to hear more detailed feedback from our partners on the particular purposes you'd want to set up emails for and how this would help you through Xero's practice tools. Thanks!

This is very important for our digital signing system, which needs a unique email addresses for each of the multiple signing clients.
Some clients will give us an alternate email address just to be used for our digital signing purposes.
It would be very helpful to have the ability to have more than one email address for a client.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing the different types of relationships you'd like to be able to track in Practice Manager.
While we're making a lot of improvements to Clients with the new unified experience, we want to be upfront that developing more custom relationships like you're after here isn't on our roadmap.
We'll continue to monitor and track the interest of this idea for future planning, and if there's any change to the status of this one, we'll let you know here.

This is so important as the spaces make it easier to read the numbers.
Also very few people have a fax machine now so we need to replace that field with a mobile phone number field including the spaces please :)Carol Cameron

Hi team, Xero Partner Hub was recently announced at Xerocon and will bring with it a whole heap of great changes we know our partners have been wanting to see. When building this, our team paid great attention to what our partners had been asking for in Product ideas and I'm pleased to share that within the new client experiences there will be a new field for Place of Birth on a Clients record. 😊 We appreciate your support through the product idea forums and will keep you updated as this rolls out. Hi Jo, thanks for sharing this great idea for improving practice efficiency. We understand how valuable a better audit trail and a more streamlined process would be for keeping client details up-to-date.
We've reviewed your suggestion to have client information updated in XPM, such as addresses or bank details, sync directly with the ATO Portal. This idea is now ready to gain support from other community members.
Along with votes, others can now comment to share how this direct integration would improve the workflow and data accuracy for their own practice. 🙂

Thanks for sharing the details that'll help you better manage clients in your practice. With the new clients experience within Xero Partner Hub you'll soon have new client fields including the ability to enter multiple email and phone numbers so you'll have a place to record client mobile along with other contact numbers.
Xero Partner hub will be rolling out to partners in early 2026. You can register your interest for early access on our website now. We'll return to update when this is rolled out.

Yes many clients have separate emails for work, business, home, super fund, digital signing so this would be helpful :)
