    Hi Brett, separate actions in them self but it is possible to Approve multiple invoices at once from the Draft tab. When actioned you'll see a message from which you can 'View invoices' and multi select to Email. 

    Being open this isn't something we have plans for right now - Is there a common scenario, or specific reason you'd like these actions as one? It'd be good detail to share back with the team. 

  2. Are you likely to increase the number of employees you can have in Xero to more than 200? We don't want to move from Xero but may have to if the numbers can't be increased.

    Hi team, while we appreciate you raising the idea here, the cap of processing payroll for 200 employees is to prevent any issues with your user experience - Going over this could slow down the payroll function, and create difficulties when you run payroll reports.

    If you do need to process larger payrolls, we suggest taking a look at our third-party providers in the Xero app store that can serve your needs and handle larger payroll data.

  3. When we create quotes we do not want the individual cost to be sent to the client as we may increase or decrease price depending on actual needs. Therefore I would like to send a quote with all the products/services itemized but not individual cost just a TOTAL?

  4. It would be great if we could search in the files that are attached in the file library. Sometimes you need to find something that was attached a long time ago or by someone else and if you could enter a keyword search it would save trawling through them page by page.

  5. When purchasing product from clients we issue them with a hand-written Buyer Created Invoice on farm & then need to input this into Xero as a bill payment. But this doesn't show that it was a buyer created invoice. Please can this option be added

  7. Draft Bills - BULK add Due date when bulk approving.
    - need to use when creating RCTI's from purchase orders. We have the option to bulk move from Purchase order to Draft Bill, but then must open each one individually to apply the due date so that they can then be approved.

    Another alternative is to add a 'due date' field on the screen when choosing to transfer the Purchase Orders to the Draft Bill page

  8. You can enter a group for an employee on the employment information but this function cannot be used on the reports.

    If the information of which employee is in which group, then surely its not a huge leap to add this function to the reports. Using the gross to net report, you could select a group rather than an individual, saving a lot of time.

    Thanks for the engagement on this idea, team. You may have noticed over the past year we have made some updates to the Bills list screen that allows you to choose which columns to view, as well as introducing quick view which should make it a bit easier to see the tax and amounts you're after without needing to navigate away from the list.

    Just to confirm while you can add Total, as column there is no tax amount column right now, and this isn't something we have planned atm however we'll continue to watch the appetite here.

  10. Currently we can send invoices using eInvoicing through the PEPPOL network, however we can't send credit notes for any changes to these invoices. It would be good if credit notes (or at least negative invoices) would be enabled in Xero so any invoice changes could also be sent through the eInvoice system.

  11. Need to be able to remove a leave type for employees. Ie an employee is entitled to 4 weeks annual leave p.a.. They have renegotiated their contract and are now entitled to 5 weeks AL p.a. I've set up a new leave type to accrue 5 weeks p.a. for this employee and asked that they use this option when submitting future requests. I have changed the AL 4 week code to No Calculation for this employee, however it still appears as an option when they request leave. I would like to remove this as an option because they continually inadvertently…

  12. At present it is impossible to link a payroll item to an Asset Account in GL. This is a limitation that is wrong and should be easy to fix. It is wrong because in some cases the wages are capitalised (for instance when the resources are used in full or in part to construct capital assets). Sure, it is possible to post a journal to move costs from P&L to a Balance Sheet account but it is cumbersome and error prone. I note, a majority of competing products do not have this limitation.

    Hi community, while we appreciate you sharing in the idea here we don't have any plans for developing this capability in the global Pay run product. Instead, we'd recommend using a manual journal to record this.

  13. Under the Contact, where Xero shows the current account balance and further down the screen we can see all invoices etc for that contact. When I scroll down the list of invoices I'd love to be able to see a little icon that tells me how many files I have uploaded to each invoice. The only way to tell currently is if I click into each invoice and then I can see the number of files attached per the little file icon at the top.

  14. I would like to be able to select only certain employees and add LSL balances on their payslips rather than everyone in the organisation.
    My point is, when we set a new employee we started calculating their LSL from day one but we do not necessarily want them to see the balances until they reach 5 or 10 year mark working for the company.
    In this case, calculation of LSL is accurate as in 10 years times hours of employees can change btw full time/part time and so on.
    I would appreciate an option to select individual employees to display…

  15. Ability to create a separate proforma invoice function which allows you to make part payments against the proforma invoice, before being able to convert it to a sales invoice.

    Purpose: Users can easily manage part payments before sending their sales invoices to their contacts.

    Hi everyone, thanks for all your support and feedback of how changes in navigation could help your use of Xero. While not across all areas of the product there are some updates in Bills that we wanted to share and may help the needs of some in the idea here.

    We've launched Bills quick view where there's now an eye icon within the line of the bills list. From here you'll find more ease in viewing, and more recently being able to edit bills from this view without having to leave the list, meaning you can simply make adjustments and move from one bill to the next.

    We'll continue to explore and develop solutions like this to help our customers get more out of Xero on the go. I'll keep you informed of other updates that could enhance your experience, here.

  17. More than four bank accounts for employees: It would be helpful if we could have more than four bank accounts for employee wages to be split into. A minimum of 6 would be good as a few employees have asked for money to be split into more than four accounts.

  20. When adding a actual expense within a project it should open a spend money transaction in Xero and have the ability to save photo of the receipt as normal spend money. Or alternative within the XERO app be able to select a project when inputing a receipt, the current setup is double handeling because you purchase somthing and you have to enter it in xero then in the project.
