  1. When an invoice in emailed in Workflowmax it is marked with a tick as “Sent”, however this does not carry through to Xero. Is it possible to add this feature so that invoice payment reminders in Xero automatically work without the need to manually change the invoice status to “Sent”?

  2. I would like to be able to send statements using different email templates depending on how old the debts are. Smart lists seem to have the functionality to filter what I want but no option to send statements based on those lists.

    Hey community, thanks for sharing this idea.

    For those who aren't aware, within the Email Settings it is possible to create a number of different templates to reflect the wording you'd like to use, depending on the age of the debt. The Add email templates support article has detailed steps on how to do this 😊

    As mentioned, Smart Lists are a great way to filter your customers and can be used as a tool to identify the customers who should receive their statement with each template.

    However as you have found, it is currently not possible to send statements directly to the customers from the Smart List. We understand this is the main ask of this idea, so we'll continue to monitor the suggestion to get a clearer understanding of users that'd like to see this developed.

  3. It would save so much time if there was an option to bulk code multiple lines on one bill, rather than selecting the account code for each line individually.

  4. I would like Xero to create as sales invoice worded in English and then be able to click a button and Xero then translates all details (including hard coded items) into the language selected and visa versa.

  5. As a Small business user I want to see Expense receipts that are already captured in Expense process included as attachments when those expenses are added to an Invoice

    Why:
    When invoicing customers and claiming expense costs we need to show them receipts for these expenses
    But when creating an invoice using expenses the receipts are not carried across.

    (This is the case whether expenses have been assigned to Project or Customer and creating an invoice through the Project module or Invoicing Page)
    This results in having to find and reattach all these same files again.

  6. Stop "Mark as sent" pop-up for every invoice. When making multiple new invoices, this pop-up occurs for each invoice made, no matter if reminders are turned off. This is new, started April 2024, and XERO support states there is no way to turn this off.

  7. PDF attached to all invoices being sent out from Xero - we utilise Salesforce who triggers the email to send from Xero directly - however there is currently no options for PDF to be attached.
    We have numerous clients refusing to pay because they wont click the link to download an invoice and in the last few weeks the link now takes them to a screen to enter card details not a copy of the invoice causing more clients not willing to click the link (screenshot of new screen attached).   8. Ability to see Header rows and side columns on all screens when scrolling

    As per Microsoft Office where the top and side ribbons remains static.
    e.g. When you're in the Dashboard and scroll down it would be good if the top ribbon is static. It makes it easier to select another item (business; accounting; contact etc) without having to scroll up.

    The same with Bill Payments; Invoicing; reports etc where the top ribbon and column headers - see attached - would remain static as you scroll down the list.

    The same as when you might have a lot of columns…

  9. In New Invoicing can the Date field be left blank when in draft status as per previously. Regularly I create draft invoices and want to continue to be able to leave the date blank or to put tentative dates in before moving forwards int he process.

  10. Sticky header/footer for bank reconciliation (cash coding, bank statements and account transactions tabs). The idea is to not have to scroll down all the way to jump to a specific page or navigate to the next page. The option to navigate between pages must be easily accessible at all times.

  11. It would be really useful to have a way of typing the date without having to use a / in between the numbers, like you could on classic invoicing

    e.g. 20012024 used to convert automatically to 20th January 2024 on classic invoicing

  14. This is an extremely basic feature that must be fixed (in my opinion, a bug). If I create a NEW invoice, but then do not approve it or save it as a draft, and simply close the browser or the session times out) the invoice number that had been temporarily allocated to this invoice is now lost. The next time I open Xero and input a new invoice, it skips that number and uses the next number. This is ridiculous behaviour as consecutive invoice numbers are critical to many companies.

  15. It would be better is the invoice reference could allow for input of longer names, without scrolling, so it's all on one line on the invoice.
    Currently, the invoice number character length and the invoice reference character length are the same, which seems odd, as usually the invoice number is just a few characters, but the invoice reference can be long (project name, case name etc)

  16. Update the search box to allow for search phrases to rank within the search box...not just exact matches. it's not particularly beneficial for a search query to result ONLY the exact match if you're searching for a match and probably don't know the exact phrase for a contact/business/customer.

    For example,

    "Jack Jones" produces no results when the contact is actually "John Jones".

    Searching "Jack Jones" should produce a result with all contacts that include either "jack" or "jones". Producing no results is not an accurate representation of the total database.

  17. Add a send remittance button once a payment is made via the new Direct Bank Transfer Feature.

    I previousley made batch payments via Wise and once the payments went through there was a button to send remittances. This feature is not available when using the new Direct Bank Transfer option. You have to maunally send each remittance advice from the banking screen which is a poor use of time and there is the chance that a remittance advise will be missed or sent twice.

  18. We use Analytics Plus Short-term cash flow projection, and it is great.

    Given the GST returns are generated through the information entered into Xero (Bills & Invoices etc.), and the payment date also known, is it possible to incorporate a prediction of the future GST payment?
