  2. I need to report on employee timesheets against my tracking categories. For example how many hours have employees recorded against Job A, Job B, Job C etc in any given timescale. In the transaction/payroll activity report it only gives £ and not into tracking categories.

  5. I pay my staff on a monthly basis, but at the moment timesheet reporting can only be done weekly. Would it be possible to add a filter to be able to look at a custom date range.

  6. If there's an error in a payrun that causes STP filing to fail, that payrun shows up in STP finalisation for that financial year as something to fix. Given that filing STP just gives the YTD totals to the ATO, this means that even if I've fixed what caused the error, by doing a correcting payrun (as per Xero instructions), I will still be told that it needs fixing when running the STP finalisation for the EOFY. As will my client, who has now attempted to file the same payrun six times and is getting rather stressed about it, even…

  8. When downloading the individual payslip it would be nice if the PDF would say the persons name rather than the default filename of Payslip (1) etc
    Other payroll software such as Shape does this. Shame that Xero doesn't

  9. On payslips and in reports, I think there should be dates next to the following items so it isn't confusing for the employee and when checking reports. It makes it more transparent too.

    Time In Lieu
    Annual Leave
    Sick Leave
    Compassionate Leave

  10. The ability to be able to multiple select earnings types when setting up the employee template.

    Also with the ability to select Calculation Type - either Use Earnings Rate or Enter Rate.

    If selecting 'Enter Rate' this can be input after the earnings lines are available - like usual.

  11. We really need to be able to set a limit, be it based on number of instances or a dollar amount. Having to do it maunally at present is very problematic when you have a large payroll.

  12. Currently to reimburse employees for expenses you have to add them manually to each pay run for each employee, it would make sense for expenses that have been added using the expenses function to auto add to payroll each month to reduce work and to allow staff to be reimbursed quicker. this would also make the expenses function more worthwhile for the cost.

    This would reduce stress for staff putting on employees as expenses that have been approved will automatically be added and marked as paid.

  13. When an employee leaves, it would be really useful for Xero to calculate how much leave they have left or have over used and then calculate and add/deduct the value from the final payslip. Currently, I have had to do the calculations manually, and then I add to add the holiday to the payslip and change his departure date to cover the leave period - a bit of a messy fudge.

  14. Please give us the option to split the base rate and casual loading items WHILE working with a timesheet. At the moment this has be manually done in every pay run if we want to show the loading separately.

    The Payroll /Or Payrun system can also be currency optional

    Companies are becoming more international. The online office model is not limited to the workplace, and salaries will be paid in different currencies. This is probably going to be a trend.

  17. Suggestion? Please fix the Salary Sacrifice % of Earnings to include all gross earnings, not just payroll items selected for SGC.

    Currently Xero will only apply a Salary Sacrifice % amount to any payroll item that is selected for SGC. If an employee chooses to Salary Sacrifice a % of their gross earrings that may include overtime worked, a manual calculation work around is required.

  18. Currently the super funds appear in the super settings page in no particular order. It would be great if they appear in order so its easier to find and check if they have already been added or if a payment bounces and you need to check details.

  19. Link the data already on file in the Pay Templates directly to the Employees Time sheet. Or at least remove the ability for Employees to view ALL pay items on their time sheet. This creates friction among Employees and angst re different levels that they may not be on. Despite the fact they can't see a dollar amount. Even if I need to create a new Time Sheet Template as long as ALL pay item are hidden on the time sheet from the Employee point of view. Seems an easy fix. get it done please.

  20. Have tax rates added to Pay Items and or a way to add employee tax rate to unscheduled pay runs so you don't have to edit tax rate when processing.

    This will ensure correct tax rate is applied to all employees every time a pay is processed, whether is a normal pay run and or unscheduled pay (bonus etc)
