AU Payroll: Add negative reimbustments to pay templates
I want a negative Reimbursement line item in the Employee Template.
This can be done in a Payrun, but cannot be done in the Employee Template screen.
With STP 2 we have some payroll reimbursement entries that need to be processed every pay. They need to be positive and negative entries so that the Wages Payable account does not go out of balance. This can be done in a payrun - why not in the Employee Pay Template. Please see the screenshots.2 votes -
AU Payroll: Include date of leave in Leave Transaction report
It would be helpful if the leave transaction report had a date column so that when you download the report to excel you can sort it by date. It is very frustrating that the date is just in the description and cannot be sorted.

Payroll | Employees - Roster Board for Shift Management
Roster Board for Employee Shift Management.
A scheduling /roster to show employee shifts. That then can be reconciled against the timesheets submitted. The ability to also send the weekly/fortnighly schedule roster to each employee - or have them be able to view it on the Xero Me app. Have a clock in clock out feature on the Xero Me App to record when a shift starts and ends.

Reconciliation - Upload PDF statements for reconciliation
Ability to reconcile a bank account based on a pdf. This would be beneficial for our Australia Post Everyday Mastercard that does not covert to other formats.

AU Payroll: Track and approve work from home requests through Xero Me
In order to track and approve "Working from Home" requests it would be useful if Xero would enable pay item ("Working from Home") to be created that would function in the same manner as a leave category but was not leave (i.e. would not be reported to the Tax Office as a type of leave).
That way employees could apply to work from home, as they do annual leave, and approved working from home hours would automatically appear on the leave calendar.2 votes -

Employees are submitting leave as per there payslips and have no knowledge that this is not actual leave. They may not have been with our company 12 months or it's accured leave which only becomes actual on their anniversary. We are finding some of our employees with negative leave balances, which causes both confusion and problems on them leaving.8 votes -
UK Payroll: Time off balance - exclude Time off requests for the next year
It'll be good to be able to submit leave requests for the next year without affecting the current year's balance.
Towards the end of the year for the holiday allowance, employees start to plan their time off for the next year.
It'll be good for the system to recognise that the leave request is for the next year and only deduct off the balance once the new year starts and the balance is reset.

AU Payroll - Change 'Reset Payslip' to read 'Reset individual's payroll'
Please update the wording of icon in an employees payroll from "reset payslip" to "reset individuals payroll"
The reset is for use to "refresh" really and nothing to do with a payslip.

UK Payroll - Email payslips before posting pay run.
Allowing the payslips to be emailed before posting to HMRC to check for any errors would be great. We have multiple users involved in the payroll data input and there are usually one or two errors as there are many expenses claims. Being able to do this would make life so much easier for us.

NZ Payroll - 63 day holiday report
This is required at year end. Annual leave owing at balance date but paid within 63 days after balance date is tax deductible in that balance date year.

when in an employee file, be able to search by entering next employee's name you want to view next instead of having to scroll down to the name

Global Pay Run - Include additional employee fields
Add a few more fields for employees such as Date of Birth, start date, Position, Next of Kin, and the ability to have more than one bank account per employee. These are nice HR fields which make a simple payroll system just a little bit better.

AU Payroll | Include date range in exported version of Payment Summary Details report
When running the Payment Summary Details report for a previous financial year, the report does not show the dates of the financial year the data belongs to. The report is titled Payment Summary Details as at Today's Date. For example: it should show Payment Summary Details reporting period 1st July 2017 - 30th June 2018. For audit purposes, there is no way of determining the date range the reported data relates to.

AU Payroll - Automatically accrue RDO hours
Automatically accrue RDO hours after a certain amount of hours logged.
Job management systems push 80 hours over as a timesheet in Xero.
We would like the total combined hours logged (ordinary hours, annual leave, RDOs, personal leave and public holidays) in excess of 76 hours to automatically be converted to RDO hours.
E.g: If I log 80 hours ordinary time, I accrue 4 hours RDO.
E.g: If I log 78 hours ordinary time, I accrue 2 hours RDO.
E.g: If I log 80 hours annual leave, I accrue 4 hours RDO.

AU Payroll: Support for Superstream Alternative File Format
We need to be able to export SAFF (ATO super compliant files) to Superannuation clearing houses. I am unable to upload a file as Xero is not SAFF compliant.

Gusto integration - Change sync to avoid creating multiple bills
We create contractor bills within Xero as a way to view and track upcoming bills, but we pay them through Gusto. When we make the Gusto payment, Gusto generates its own bill in Xero, leading to duplication.
As a current workaround, we delete the Xero bill once Gusto posts the payment transaction in Xero. At that time, we also attach PDFs of the invoices from the contractors to the Gusto bills.
Can you provide a way to prevent these duplicate bills?

NZ Payroll - Ability to export Leave Liability report to excel
That Leave Liability Report is able to be exported to Excel. This would avoid double handling when I am creating graphing for the CE
