  1. As a firm of around 25 accountants, we all may need access to a particular client at any point in time. Currently however, the client is aware of each individual user (i.e. 25 users) rather than an as a practice.

    It would be therefore be good if Xero operated like Sage or QBs whereby the client only sees the practice as having access to their data.

  2. I have a long list of draft invoices, however in the app, I don't know what each one is unless I click on it? Why is the reference not in the heading? This would save a LOT of time for such a small feature.

  4. I quite often take on Xero 'tidy up' jobs, there are sometimes hundreds of transactions unreconciled, meaning lots of pages to click through. Working through my different checks I find bills/invoices that have in fact been paid, and then have to click through numerous pages of unreconciled transactions to find the one I want to match. It would be super useful if you could implement the find and match function on the cash coding tab. Its so much easier to find the bank transaction from the cash coding list, by sorting it, so to be able to finish the matching…

    Hiya everyone, as you may have seen we've released a new version of the Payroll Activity Summary report for AU and UK versions of Xero payroll. While it's still not possible to select multiple individual employees to run in this report, what you can do is run the report for an Employee group.

    At this time we don't have plans for developing the ability to select and run the report for multiple employees, however we'll continue to track this here and update if there's any progress.

  8. When adding a Director to payroll midway through the year the status can only be set to 'Annual'
    It would be great if we were able to choose either 'Annual' or 'Alternative' Setting a new director on 'Annual' in January has affected their NI contributions. On Annual the NI does seem to vary but sort its self out by the end of the tax year. It just means paying more NI for a period of time.

  10. Would it be possible to have the option of jumping to the page a transaction is on, when searching through unreconciled transactions on the bank feed?
    For example, you find the transaction inthe search bar, but then you need to flip through (sometimes dozens) of pages on the bank reconciliation screen to find it, to reconcile it. Would be amazing if we could have a 'jump to this transaction page' option.

  11. Standard bank current and savings acccounts are currently availble to add to Xero via Open Banking feed but mortgage and loan accounts are not. Please could support be added to these also please.

  12. We have our own PDF invoices we send our clients and much prefer these over the automatically generated Xero PDF version of invoice. I know we can upload these into Xero when in classic view but are these the PDF invoices sent with Automatic Reminders when selecting "Include the link to the invoice PDF" or is it the standard Xero PDF invoice that is sent? If not can this please be added as we much prefer our own invoices as much detail goes into them and we are not happy with the overall look of Xero PDF's. We have tried…

  16. It would be great if we could search in the files that are attached in the file library. Sometimes you need to find something that was attached a long time ago or by someone else and if you could enter a keyword search it would save trawling through them page by page.

    I wanted to take a moment to share a suggestion that I believe could significantly simplify our payroll process. It involves the implementation of a bulk upload feature, which would allow us to handle payroll data in a more efficient manner. We will need a template that contains essential details for each employee. These details may include the employee's name, rate of salary, and various pay items relevant to their compensation. This would reduce the time and effort invested in processing payroll.
