  1. When paying bills using Crezco use the "Details" field from the Supplier Contact / Finance as the payment reference.
    For instance if a supplier has given us a unique ID on there system as "DME002" use this reference in the payment field when doing Crezco payments.
    FYI. It used to be this way with Wise payments? but has now changed as we move over to Crezco?

  2. Not a major one but I feel the whole online site needs a facelift.
    Information is not given in an easy to process way and this can make navigating the program more complicated than it seems to be.

    I recently transferred over from MYOB and where I feel the general program of Xero is better for ease of reconciling etc. some tasks can feel super overcomplicated and difficult to carry out due to poor layout and outdated visuals.   3. Add a 'Projects' column to Bills rather than having to click 'Assign expenses to customer or project'.

    As a company who have many projects that are a similar (or the same) name as a customer's company name, the current process results in expenses being assigned to a customer and not the project!

    A 'Project' column has been added in the new invoice template so PLEASE add one to the Bills as well!!

  4. Under the 'New Invoice' creation page, it would be great to add a contact's VAT number as you are creating the contact, on the invoice page.

    Just add one line under the address.

    Then one would not have to navigate to the Contacts page to add the VAT number

  5. It would be good for the lower scroll bar to display when a screen is minimised (in contacts). Currently, if you minimise the screen (as I do when I am comparing entries in another external on-line tab, for example, with my HMRC account, or my on-line bank account) you can only see the left of the minimised screen. The information does not compact into a full but smaller screen, neither is there a scroll button to scroll the information to the right.   6. It would be great to have the option to select multiple projects at once, e.g. Like there is for transactions. This would provide so much better management of projects. Currently it is is soooo slow to delete projects. Each deletion requires three clicks of the mouse and then the page refreshes. Such basic functionality which would be transformative in managing lots of projects.

    In addition in the API there is no way to bulk delete projects either. Very frustrating!

  7. at the moment in the new invoicing system, if a price is deleted from a line and not replaced with 0.00 it is not automatically zero'd out so the the line total remains what it was before the price was removed. should automatically update as soon as the number is removed.

  8. So far I know Xero only have features of sending overdue invoice reminder to customers, but in absence of the feature I mentioned. This feature is good for the operation.
    The invoice overdue days could be set by us and automatically send the notification to our preset email address once the overdue day came. So that, our customer services staff can easily be notified all the overdue invoice and doing their followup tasks.

  9. A company we work with here in UK was recently a victim of an elaborate but simple fraud, resulting in the loss of around £5,000 from the payroll.

    The scam went like this:-

    1. Scammer fakes an email to HR from an employee requesting the bank details for their salary be changed.
    2. HR fails to spot the "EXTERNAL EMAIL WARNING!" and forwards this email to the person who updates the payroll. They also didn't spot the fake email address, or double-check with the employee.
    3. Bank details for the employee are updated in the payroll and bank payments.

  11. TEMPLATE FOR COMMON SPLIT PAYMENTS
    We need to be able to save a split payment as a template (like a bank rule)
    eg: registration is always split with gst, no gst etc, let us save that transaction as a template for easy recon next time. Bank rule isnt helpfull as when you have 20 different regos being paid to the same company then a simple split template would be very helpful

  13. When I review payroll I want to know if the employee is casual, part-time, full time or contractor.

    I want to know the typical hours worked in the payslip cycle so as to determin whether overtime entitlements apply.

  16. We need to give specific users access to specific sales.
    We have made our employee have draft only sales access, but now we cant collaborate invoices and quotes there should be an option to give users access to specific invoices & quotes, not the total sales in and out

  20. When a client changes from GST registered to no longer GST registered - It would be greatly appreciated if all the rules changed to BAS Exc like it does in Chart of Accounts. Young clients shop everywhere and therefore there are hundreds of rules to edit.
