  1. The ability to integrate with many different apps from the app store is great but you cannot currently see any history of when and who authorised an app to integrate with Xero. For security , traceability and troubleshooting errors, this should show in the history and notes report and /or the assurance dashboard.

  2. For clients or businesses in Indonesia, the operating amounts are in 14 digits. Currently XERO only able to have it at 12 digits only. Please implement this so that we can attract more Indonesia user into XERO platform.

  4. Provide a setup option for a new bill to default to the previous month in order to match the accounting period for the goods and services being provided.
    Invoices usually arrive from suppliers in the first week or so of the month following the provision of service or receipt of goods. Therefore a new bill often needs to be entered for the previous month.
    A new bill currently defaults to the current date, and when a large batch of bills are to be entered, it can be tedious and time consuming to change the bill date each time.

  5. Need the option to customise the tax years for the entities who don't have March 20XX balance date e.g. December balance date in financial settings.

    This still shows the annual certificate as at 31st March.

  8. It is quite often that we need to print a proper record of a transaction for approval or record keeping purposes. (such as spend/receive money, invoice/bill/credit note)
    We have to print from the transaction screen because we need the printout to show the GL account, source type and tax rate name etc.
    However the printing layout is very messy and unreadable, and does not look like a proper record from Xero.
    Is it possible to make the layout more organized or more similar to what is shown on the screen?
    I have attached the printout of the transactions for reference.

  9. I noticed with the new invoicing structure, that a field for Projects to be allocated in each line item. Can this be done for billing too? It becomes very time-consuming when having to add the projects at the end of a bill. Some of my bills are like 20-25 lines long, and then once I have entered the info, I have to go back to each line via the projects and allocate the project code. It would be so much simpler if the field was added to each line so that it can be allocated at the same time as…

  10. We are just starting to use DocuSign for signing of Purchase Orders, invoices & Good Received Notes internally. Previously our Financial Controller just forwarded on the email with attachment to Hubdoc for auto uploading to Xero. However, signed documents with DocuSign are embedded in the body of the email meaning we have to download a document from DocuSign, then send an email to the FC as an attachment. It would be awesome if Hubdoc was compatible with DocuSign so that we could automatically send signed documents straight to our Hubdoc account!

  12. Unfortunately, directly allowing your subcontractor to fill in an invoice within Xero itself isn't a built-in feature. Unlike QuickBooks Plus and Advanced plans, Xero currently doesn't offer a true collaboration functionality for directly editing invoices with external users like subcontractors. Quickbooks allows you to invite your subcontractor as a "vendor" with limited access to their specific invoice. Subcontractor cannot directly edit the invoice within QuickBooks. You can send them a pre-filled invoice for review and confirmation before finalizing it on your end.

  13. The Accounts payable/receivable Report is incorrect if the contact name has changed. As described to me by a Xero support technician:

    If you edit a contact on an invoice, credit note, prepayment or overpayment that has a payment applied to it, it may affect the balance of the customers Activity Statement. This is because the transaction and corresponding payment are no longer associated to the same contact.

    For example, if you create an invoice for Customer A then apply a credit note to that invoice, the Activity Statement for Customer A will show the net balance of the invoice amount…

Together with two other islands in the Caribbean, namely Saba and Sint Eustatius, we form the country Caribbean Netherlands. Please add this country to your list of countries. Before 2010, these islands were part of the country called Netherlands Antilles, but in 2010 this country was dissolved.

  16. I would like the invoice email templates placeholders to have the have built-in functionality for automatic percentage calculations directly within the template. Like in some of the date place holders you you add month+1 to add a month. So in the invoice template it could be due with the facility to calculate 50% for example

  19. We are a design firm that sells non-inventory goods - we might purchase a faucet from a wholesale vendor, want to mark it up for profit and then re-sell to our clients. This cannot be a unique scenario for other Xero users. Everything we order is one-off because every design is different.   20. This is functionality that used to exist and has just disappeared 01/01/24. When creating a sales invoice from a project it would be useful if the sales tax to apply could continue to default from the customer's record. This prevents mistakes when invoicing customer's in different countries.
