Invoices and Bills - Use cursor keys instead of mouse or tab
Include Alt+Key options for cursor positioning rather than having to use the mouse or Tab Key. eg Search, Save, Save and continue, Approve, Approve and add, etc

Ability to use up and down keys to move about an invoice, not just the tab or enter key.
If I copy over a multi line invoice and just need to change quantities it's painful to have to use the mouse to click on each row. Being able to use the down arrow to move through a column of numbers would be very time saving. -

It was such a great feature! Please bring it back

This is a frustrating backwards step. This makes my role so much harder. It might make me move back to Sage.

I agree this is a backwards step and will dramatically increase the time it takes for us to review our bills for payment each week. Very disappointed in this decision by Xero.

Why is the next bill feature no longer available in bill preview?
The bill preview is a great feature in awaiting bills, allowing you to view the bill and xero transaction at the same time, before you schedule a bill for payment. There were up and down arrows allowing you to move through all the bill transactions & their respective invoice/s that were awaiting payment.
However, in the last week it is no longer available. You have to keep clicking in and out of each bill to preview. Its time consuming. Can we please have this feature back? -

When previewing bills in 'awaiting payment' or 'awaiting approval' there used to be up and down arrows to cycle from one bill to the next or previous. The arrows have been removed from the interface with no plans to bring them back.
Previously, we could review the account and GST coding of each bill, as well as having the attached invoice open to the right, including the abillity to review the Xero ocntact bank details by clicking on the contact name. Now, without the abiity to cycle between bills easily, it means we need to close each bill before clicking on the next, or, forego the attachment preview which isnt practical.
My vote is to bring the arrows back please. Removing them is a backwards step.
Thanks

Please add the function to use your arrow keys to move up down, left right around lines, within purchase orders and invoices. This will allow for better movement and the ability to copy/paste information into each section

We have a deposit each day from the credit card provider, for which I have set up a bank rule to split the income into all the respective divisions of the company. The rule is set up with $1.00 for each line, and we need to edit the lines for the correct income amount each day.
It would be very helpful if there was the ability to use the down arrow on a screen column to go down the page and change the amounts. Currently, the mouse has to be used to select the field on the next line down, it's tedious moving back and forth between the mouse and the keyboard. -

Would be great to be able to use the tab key when allocating a credit / customer overpayment to outstanding invoices and would like this added to the list too.
We encourage trade customers to pay one monthly total for their invoices which records as an overpayment I then allocate. It really slows down the allocation by having to click the mouse to select a new invoice after using the number pad to enter the amount I want to allocate. Sounds very petty but when you are processing a multitude in one go, it becomes very irritating and laborious moving frequently between the number pad and the mouse! Also, it makes my hand ache which doesn't seem to happen if I am solely using a mouse or the keyboard.
A better suggestion would be to include a tick box to select invoices you wish to fully allocate using the mouse which automatically completes the number field. That way you can whizz down the list quickly without any number typing at all and allocation would be speeded up considerably. Or for those wishing to solely use a keyboard, tabbing between the tick boxes and selecting a key such as 'Y' to include the invoice could be a solution.

This would make large invoices with multiple line items much quicker to input also. I was able to do this in MYOB with the arrow direction keys, but know that we are on Xero, unable to.

This would make things more Accessible for people who can't use a mouse - when I had wrist surgery (and beforehand, when I needed it but hadn't had it yet), it was a constant pain having to shift my one working hand from keyboard to mouse and back again, just to do basic things.

It would be great if you could press tab and select these boxes with drop down options.
You can do this on all the parts where you write on the invoice/bill but not the save or approve box.
So you have to use the mouse. Which is time consuming.
