Hi Lilly, with Xero expenses you can upload a copy of a receipt and have it auto capture the contents to create an expense through the app - See more on this here
Is there a reason you'd prefer to email receipts to your org over the existing method? Will help when sharing back with the team.
An error occurred while saving the comment Kelly Mansell commentedCould you please add a feature that allows users to email receipts directly to Xero, where they would be uploaded as part of an expense claim?
Currently, receipts and bills can be forwarded and uploaded under 'files,' but this is limited to invoices and bills. Extending this functionality to expense claims would be incredibly helpful.
This is for the web, not through the app.

Hi Amanda and Sandy, I want to let you know that you can upload your document or invoice directly into Xero Files without using Hubdoc, and you can assign it from there - See more on our article.
If you’re looking into publishing the document from Hubdoc to Xero files, you can do it too. And you can read more here.
In saying that, let us know if you’re actually after something else.
An error occurred while saving the comment Kelly Mansell commentedHi Xero - following up on this one, as it's been 2 years.
When will it be possible for Xero to auto populate the data (exactly as Amanda mentioned below) so we can upload files directly into Xero, without using Hubdoc?

We understand how recurring expenses would enable efficiencies when you frequently have expenses of a similar nature (like subscriptions). Currently there is work needed within expenses to enable us to develop future capabilities. We're keen to continue tracking the interest in this through the idea here, and as soon as we're in a better position to be able to dive deeper this work we'll share any progress with you all here. So, while not in the plans at present, please keep sharing detail of your needs and supporting in the idea here.

I am referring to when you upload receipts into Xero website. The receipt analysis is only on the app. I have to use the website to process receipts.
___
When uploading an expense claim, Xero should auto populate data like date, organisation, amount to cut down on data entry and mistakes.
Hubdoc has this feature, can this be applied to expense claims?
