Inventory - Check items on Quotes and Orders from Products and Services screen

When checking information on the inventory screen it would be extremely helpful if you could click on the 'In committed quotes' or 'Quantity on order' to see the customer or supplier to which they are assigned. Sometimes I need to chase a supplier for parts but have to waste time trawling through the purchase orders to track down who they have been order from. Likewise it would save time to be able to go straight to the customer quoted once an item has been received.

Thanks for your support and feedback on how visibility of the transactions related to stock on order and committed would be handy.

While we've been making a few improvements to inventory and Purchase orders recently I want to be open this is not a capability we have planned as yet.

Our product team have reviewed and will consider how they may provide more visibility in future, so I will share if there are any updates for you here.

    The ability to see if you have a particular product on order and which purchase order it is on.
    Currently when searching for a product line it will tell you which invoice or which bill it was on, but only when approved or finalised.
    It would be useful to see if it is in a draft invoice or in a purchase order. This would be fantastic. Thank you!

    Oh to be able to click on the 'quantity on order' container within the stock record and view a short list of the purchase order(s) that is is on so that you can identify which PO you item is on! it can be a nightmare to try and find

    This would be extremely helpful to shuffle if items are on back order etc. To make the number for committed quotes a link to show all committed quotes wouldn't take that coding to implement.

    Strongly support this - we sometimes need to move orders around. It'd be incredibly helpful to be able to click on 'In committed quotes' and see the customers they're assigned to.

    How is this not a standard feature. What use is it telling me a certain number of an item are committed in quotes but then not let me see which quotes they are!

    Please give some time to provide a much needed update to the Inventory feature.

    Items - under Latest Transactions, include quotes, draft invoices and purchase orders.

    Hi,

    I would like to know if it's possible to enhance the "Products and Services" area. Specifically, when you click on a product in the "Quantity on Order" section, it should allow you to view the Purchase Order (PO) associated with that item. Additionally, I think the latest transaction list should include the Purchase Order for each item. It would also be helpful if items on quotes were listed in the latest transactions. (See Screen Shot)

    Products and services can only tracked sales. But not able to track quotes

    When on a product screen and you have X amount of parts on order I would like to be able to click that too see the purchase orders relating to it.
