It would be useful if it excluded duplicates where one of the two is ALREADY voided or deleted. I have already fixed the problem, so don't need the system to warn me about it.
Also, please fix it so the "Place Feedback" button actually works so I can place feedback.

Agree - I keep getting duplicate bill alerts when it's in the system as a repeating bill! Of course there's more than one, aaaargh!! Then when I click the feedback button to complain that doesn't even work, not a good look

I agree with everyone (for what it's worth).
Dumbest feature ever when it alerts me to a duplicate bill with a different submit date and different pay date but the same value.
Xero's suggestion to make a "repeating bill template" isn't helpful either as these bills might not have the same date each month.
Simply make it ignore duplicates if the dates are different.

Agreed! In its current state it's basically useless to me.
I keep being prompted that recurring bills that we pay each month may be duplicates. Yet a genuine duplicate bill dated the same date, same amount, just that one bill had leading zeros whilst the other only had the actual numbers, went through without detection.
The fact you can't click to view the bills the way you can in the Bills to Pay screen is infuriating. -

Enjoying this new feature, but wish that I could click on the bill itself to view it and review details, makes it easier to confirm that it is a duplicate bill - not just the attachment (if there is one).

A duplicate bills alert should not appear for bills with completely different invoice dates.
