  1. Instead of having the client simply click on "Accept" quote, they should be prompted to actually digitally sign the quote. If there is for example two people as the contact, then both of these owners need to sign the quote for it to be accepted.

  2. Once you approve the purchase order a pop up or a drop down on the approval button to be able to select 'approve and send' automatically, our organization doesn't require higher management approval to purchase, I enter and send immediately..

  4. Ability to delete invoices permanently in Xero.

    Purpose: To make the lists of invoices looks cleaner, as the voided invoices will not be listed there. Especially for the ones that’s created accidentally.

  6. I'd like an easy way to make a note on a transaction or other unique information without it having to be "found" in the notes and history at the bottom. I'm trying to give a bookkeeper/advisor a bunch of notes at once, and it would hugely helpful if somehow there was a way to send her something or have a "log" of some kind that showed my recent notes, with easy links to the transactions, so I don't have to do screen shots and send outside of Xero etc.

  8. For example, the search box does not find results if there is a space at the end of the search term. More often than not, if you are copying and pasting a piece of text with the search term, the device will add a space at the end and most non-technical users will not realise that the cause of no results from the query is due to a space they cannot see. e.g for invoices and products and services

    Other packages provide a means to set a default value to mark up items from their cost value then automatically set the sales value accordingly.
    The user would then preset a markup value to be applied across the whole list of items in Products and Services.
    Also, a universal feature to adjust for price increases from a pulldown list of the inventory.

  10. Multi row edit UI on expenses.

    I recent moved from Expensify, I've lost about 4 hours of productivity each week having to manually open and update 100s of expenses each week.

    I’d like to be able to update categories and VAT status on many tickets at once, a simple list view UI with checkboxes on the left and the ability to update more then one row at a time would work well.

  11. I would love to group select untracked expenses in Projects then drag and drop them into their expense category

    If the untracked expense could sit in one column and the expense category in another that would be amazing so you can easily reference the category then drop accross from column to column

  12. Bills to Pay UI - Visual Hierarchy

    the new update of the 'bills to pay' screen is great and has some very useful new QOL features but i think the current layout is quite difficult to read and should contain a similar visual hierarchy that the old style had.

    i have found myself focusing intently and trying to figure out where i am up to which could easily be fixed by a graphic designer adjusting fonts, weighting and alignment.

    Hi community, thanks for sharing your feedback in the idea here. Since first raised, we have made some improvement to the Bills to pay page including the ability to quick view and edit bills on the fly from the list, a duplicates review feature and the ability to directly upload to create draft bills in your organisation.

    Taking some of the more recent development into play it'd be good to hear if there are still particular aspects of this page that you feel could be improved.

  13. We need to know Potential Gross Profit when Quoting ( Obviously ! ).
    Potential Gross Profit = Estimated Charge minus Estimated Cost.

    I understand that Project Details reports and Project Summary reports require Time Spent to be entered or an Invoice to be generated before Gross Profit can be shown.

    But for Quotes we do not wish to generate an Invoice or record Time Spent, because a Quote is not a Project until it is awarded/won and does not require an Invoice until the Project is complete.

    Please can we have the capability to look at Potential Gross Profit equals…

  14. When travel details are entered in expenses capture information that is useful for GHG reporting. This might include details of distance traveled in taxi, uber, flights etc.

    Provide reporting of this detail which can be exported.

  15. Often companies email invoices but they aren't a PDF - just an email.
    So you have to print the email as a PDF - then send to Xero Bills.
    It would be good if you could just send through the email invoice (no PDF) to Xero Bills and it was processed without being a PDF.

  16. Line numbers on Purchase orders and Bills. This is standard industry practice when ordering oversea as they all speck by a line number when referring to a Purchase order. hard to do when there isn't one. I have invented a work around but I shouldn't have to, it should be a standard option as it is a standard thing that the rest of the world uses

  17. My client has started using Projects which I'm finding not easy to use.

    We would like to assign bills directs to projects in Hubdoc.

    I also want to be able to give my client a list of bills that haven't been assigned. I can see this in bills to pay but its not printable/ exportable and there is no report that will give me this information.

    I would also like to include direct spends from bank feed instead of having to create a bill just so we can see its not assigned

  19. When changing the year end for a client, it would be nice if previous year's could be locked in dates, fixed assets, etc.
    Once the year end is changed, it seems to amend the dates for the previous year in all reports too, if (for example) the new year end means the current "year" runs to 13+ months (such as when the year end is extended): it's hard to get the comparative period in any popular reports to show the previous year as it was filed.
    And especially in the TB, I can't get it to show a period for…

  20. When raising an invoice, add the functionality to 'select all' lines, to add to assign to a Project.

    When creating an invoice, even from within a Project each line has to be manually assigned to a project.
    Even if an invoice is copied from a previous one from within the project, the project information is not copied over and each line has to be assigned individually.
    This is very onerous, especially when there are numerous invoice lines.

    When actions are taken from within a Project, Xero does not seem to carry this information through, which is very poor.
