Tracking by customer notes
this is aimed when there is more than 1 user:
Is there a way to log in and see the latest customer activity notes per date?
We are a retail shop, & have many customers in & out.
I'm looking for an easier way to log in and see a timeline who's been in store and what's been enquired about etc

It seems like you would like to view the notes entered for contacts. To view notes entered for contacts, you can use the History and Notes report. Simply filter the report by setting the type to Contact and searching for the word "note".

Contacts - Add a dedicated 'Portal' link field
Many of our Customer and Suppliers now insist we use their portal to submit queries statements remittance advices etc.
It would be useful for there to be a portal element like the E mail contacts in the Contact record. If this could be visible and actionable from the header it would be nice so we can click it and go straight to their portal from the contact.2 votesHi Grantley, you can already do this in Xero! Just use the Website field in the contact's record to add the portal's URL. We have a bit of help around this in Xero Central here, but if you need an extra hand you can raise a case with our Xero Support specialists. 😊
