Aged Payables/Expense Claim report - Ability to run Aged Payables/Expense Claim report with archived users included
Ability to run Aged Payables/Expense Claim report with archived users included on the report.
Currently, when you run an Aged Payables/Expense Claim report, archived user doesn't appear on this report, however, in the balance sheet as Unpaid Expense claim, the archived user's claim is included. It looks wrong, especially when you work on a year-end, and those 2 numbers don't match up!

AU Payroll - Multiple company addresses for payslips
We have multiple sites within our payroll company. Each site is in a different physical location. We have set each location up as a "Group" Each employee is set to a group. This way, we can sort and report on each location within our payroll entity.
However, we need the payslip to show the address of the location, rather than the address which is showing in the organisation settings. I understand that we can set up a different physical address, but is it possible to have a separate address for each group or location within this organisation?

Invoice reminder - Show the list of those contacts that have reminders turned off
Currently there is no easy way to review the on/off status of invoice reminders for Customer unless they have an outstanding balance, and even then this is only on screen and not exportable, so either a way to filter the Customer list for those which have invoice reminders turned off, or just a report that can be run with a column for the reminders status (on/off and number of reminder sent) would be useful for better credit control review.

Sales Invoice - View contact vat number
When Posting a customer invoice it would be very useful to be able to see customer address and ROI vat number so I can apply the correct vat code. ATM I have to go to contact details for that information then back into invoice posting
3 votesHi Gillian, understand it doesn't accomplish all of your idea here. However you can view a contacts address from the invoice. If you click on the 'To' field once you've added the contact you'll be able to view their email, postal and delivery addresses and telephone.

Invoices - Protect/Lock invoices from alterations (in addition to Lock Dates)
Our company's invoicing procedure comprises three steps:
(1) invoice generation by our own custom software and also pushed to Xero through the Xero API,
(2) direct debit payments manually added and processed via GoCardless (on their own website, not Xero's integration) for selected invoices, and
(3) invoice reconciliation in Xero. Customer Statements - Filters by 'Has email address' and 'account balance'
When sending customer statements, we have a mix of clients who have email, and some who still get sent statements in the post.
It would be amazing if we could apply filters, like in excel, to the send statement screen, so i could say filter out all clients who have a balance greater than $0, but also who has an email address, so we can process statements, then reapply the filter to give all those without an email so we can then print all the statements needing printing.

Notifications - Ability to view all notifications received (especially tax code change notifications)
Currently you can only see new notifications when they pop up in the menu. As soon as you click x, they disappear and cannot be accessed any more. It is useful to be able to look at old notifications - particularly for tax codes so that changes to tax codes can be double checked

Reportable W1 for new pay items in Australia
When adding new Pay Items in Australia, Reportable as W1 should be ticked as a ticked as the default as the vast majority of Pay Items in Australia are Reportable under W1.
Every time the award changes and we import pay items from Deputy, the new items have Reportable as W1 turned off and we have to manually change them.
Changing the Xero default may or may not fix that problem but it should be the default nonetheless.

Bills - Show bank details in Bills to Pay screen
It would be good to be able to see the bank account details (BSB and Account number) on the new bill screen when entering invoices to be paid. By having the contacts bank details on the entry screen you can easily check that the bank details in Xero match what is on the invoice. This would save time of having to go and open the contact to check that the details match - not to mention save time of having to download the invoice so you can view it while checking against the contact. Sales invoice List - Option to add an "Excluding" filter option
When using search in Bills/Invoices Awaiting Payment, it would be beneficial to include an option to allowing to search or filter for "not" or "excluding".
For example, if I want to exclude a particular customer/supplier from the displayed results, I could search for that contact name and check "not" or "excluding".
Secondary, but in the same vain, when you do add the ability to search or filter by contact group within bill/invoices, this feature would also be extremely handy to exclude a particular group from the results.

NZ Payroll: Support for multi-currency
Small businesses are now much more global and have employees in multiple countries. Therefore payroll should also accomodate for multi currencies, otherwise several different payroll sytems need to be used. DEEL is available in multi currency so it would be logical that Xero Payroll is also

Invoice/Bill - Export invoice link
To include invoice link in column fields when exporting invoice details.
Reason: During times of audit, we will need to extract the invoices and it has to be done 1 by 1.

Bills - add a scheduled amount when entering a planned date
It would be great if you could also add a scheduled amount to be paid on a bill when you enter a planned date. This would help when you are paying off a bill in instalments and the cashflow summary would be more accurate. Instead of showing the total amount of the bill to be paid it would show the planned amount to be paid.

UK Payroll - Employee time tracking
I need to report on employee timesheets against my tracking categories. For example how many hours have employees recorded against Job A, Job B, Job C etc in any given timescale. In the transaction/payroll activity report it only gives £ and not into tracking categories.

Projects - Add people/staff without giving access
Adding staff working on a project without giving them access to Xero.
There is absolutely not need for staff to have access to Xero for me to log that they have worked on a project for 8 hours at £xx rate per hour.
I don't want to add this information to the ledger as the staff are payrolled so I cannot enter this as an expense but I would like to diarise time against the project so profitability can be calculated.

User roles: Restrict access to Invoice Settings
For internal control reasons the 'invoice settings' section should be only accessible for certain access types. Anyone with Xero access (excl read only) can go and adjust the bank account manually entered on the invoices sent to customers.
It would be great to have this locked the same way bank account admin is for supplier payments.

Purchase Order - Make Recurring Purchase Orders
Simply the ability to create Recurring Purchase Orders (similar to the recurring purchase invoice) to select from so that information is prefilled ready to go for suppliers that we regularly purchase the same items from. Or you can use this as a template and add to or from with any other items as required.
